Days Inn Houston NE Freeway

The worst experience ever! I show at 11pm and I reserved 2 rooms. Apparently my rooms got canceled. I got no cancellation email. Then he told me he had one room available for me. I told him I needed two. The two guys close the window on me saying there is no rooms available. Ignored me and told me to cancel the rooms on my phone. Then I over heard him talking on the phone to someone to block all walk ins or reservation because they don’t have any rooms. Great!! left without any rooms in the middle of the night. All hotels nearby were all booked. Drove half around houston to find a room.

Husband and I are driving from California to Mississippi and have been using rest stops, decided to pick our first hotel on the road and unfortunately we chose wrong.. black mold inside the bathtub, face towels had orange residue on it, all larger towels had black spots on them, roaches, dark spots on the bed and blankets(dark spot as in you could rub it off it was chalky) the door key didn’t work, the lights didn’t work. The guy at the front was super kind but the room was scary we didn’t feel safe. When we went to check out there was a very huge angry man shouting wanting to check out because in his words, “I step 10 feet out of my room and a black woman walks out of my room that I’ve never seen in my life I want to check out” that was scary. If I could give a 0/5 I would. Don’t stay here unless you absolutely need too !

This room was the most disgusting room I’ve ever seen. The fridge wasn’t cleaned nor turned on, smelled of smoke and was supposed to be a non smoking room, people hanging in the parking lot and making me feel unsafe, the knob on the shower fell off as soon as I touched it, floors weren’t cleaned and had dead bugs everywhere, etc. the towels weren’t cleaned. I shouldn’t have trusted the positive reviews. This place is disgustingly disgraceful and should be torn down.

I understand you get what you pay for but this hotel didn’t even do the bare minimum (wiping stuff down and sanitizing). We originally had a top floor room but as you can see from the photos it was NOT clean. The towels were dirty (however the worker said it was burn marks from the dryer…so take what you wish from that) and there was throw up in the skirt of our bead. The new room they put us in was fine other than the roaches in the microwave (they immediately gave us a new one) When we got up to get breakfast the OJ/AJ was empty and your only options to eat was waffles (the batter was sour), toast, and oatmeal. So there is NO continental breakfast. Lastly the front seat wasn’t too friendly only the house keeping manager was nice and understanding.

We got into the airport really late and so we chose this to be as close as we could to start our day out. It was a great option. Easy to get to from Houston Bush International. Clean rooms, no elevator but easy to climb stairs
