I stayed here for eight days and somewhat enjoyed my stay overall. The room was clean, and several staff members were genuinely kind and accommodating. Kristina at the front desk was especially wonderful. She had excellent customer service and handled requests professionally and efficiently. Most of the male staff members I interacted with were also very helpful and accommodating. However, my experience was inconsistent depending on who was working. There was one daytime front desk employee (AA woman with crimped voluminous clavicle length hair) in particular who repeatedly shut down simple requests without effort or explanation. When I asked about extending my stay, early check in, or early check out, I was immediately told nothing could be done. Yet when I spoke to other front desk staff or called the hotel line, those same requests were handled quickly and without issue. The inconsistency was frustrating and made the service feel dependent on mood rather than policy. I actively tried to avoid her, however, sometimes she’d be the only one in the front desk or answering phones. Another issue occurred after I extended my stay. Housekeeping was apparently not informed of the extension. While I was asleep, a staff member knocked aggressively on my door loud enough to startle me and was dismissive even after I explained that I had extended and did not require housekeeping and I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on my knob. It was unnecessary and uncomfortable. A quick call to the front desk would have been the appropriate thing to do and not scare me out of my REM sleep knocking like the police. The room’s temperature was also permanently set to 73-75, which to me is very hot. My room was hot for days. I finally complained and a front desk gentlemen kindly assisted me with getting a kind Hispanic maintenance man to adjust it. I’ve never been in a hotel where the temperature was permanently adjusted. It’s inconvenient. Because of these service inconsistencies and the lack of internal communication, I will not be rebooking. While parts of my stay were pleasant, professionalism and consistency matter, and unfortunately that was lacking.

Stayed here recently and had a great overall experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made the stay easy and relaxing. The location is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful, definitely a strong point of the hotel. Parking is the main downside — pretty expensive, which knocks it down slightly. That said, the unexpected free live Jerry Springer episode at 4am was… memorable entertainment I didn’t know I needed. 4 stars for location and staff, solid stay overall.

Wow! This place is amazing after the reno. The rooms are spacious and tastefully done. Very comfortable. The Bistro does a good job with the happy hours and the breakfast offering. The reception staff are so welcoming and attentive. And yes, the icing on the cake was a gesture by the Reception staff - my wife and i were given bottles of water and a chocolate bar, just in case, with the impending storm. This was a gesture, which really warmed our hearts. Thank you Crowne Plaza! This humane touch goes a long way.

DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WILL HAVE YOUR THINGS STOLEN. first off, parking is an extra $25/night which they don’t tell you until check in. our room had a strange smell, and the water in our bathroom was yellow with another strange smell. front desk did nothing about this. however, I can tolerate slow service and stinky rooms. what I cannot tolerate is having my belongings stolen by staff. management’s response ranged from indifferent to useless. if you value your personal property, do not stay here. after checkout, I realized the items were missing. I spent a week calling and getting placed on hold, with every employee claiming they couldn’t help. I finally had a friend nearby drive to the hotel and check for me, and after making them also wait half an hour, the manager claimed they could only find one of the items. the items were left together, one on top of the other. it is impossible to only have one. mysteriously, the most valuable item was the one they claimed they could not find. the hotel failed to investigate meaningfully or take responsibility. A place that cannot safeguard guests belongings does not deserve your money. I highly recommend ANYWHERE else.
