Courtyard Houston I 10 West Park Row

Usually the courtyard stays are pretty good but this one unfortunately did not turn out well. I had hot water coming out from both sink taps and shower, making it pretty much impossible for use. The reception person grudgingly tried to move me into another room but the same issue. I would have still let his one go, if there was a hint of apologetic behavior from the hotel administration the next morning in response to my complaint. They were completely defensive and refusing to acknowledge any issue and re-characterizing the problem to city \ across the area and so on... Never in this location again

I was looking for a hotel that was conveniently located to the hospital where I would be getting treatment and I had several reservations to continue to come back to this property. I was very pleased with the service I received at the front desk with a larger than life warm and energetic personality. The room overall looked great at first glance, and the bed was comfortable enough. When we were getting up in the morning, I noticed something on the bed and upon further examination, it was a dead cockroach. I was absolutely appalled as we slept in that bed all evening. I can oversee the hotel, not having a phone in the room to call to the front desk, although I thought that was strange and that there was no blow dryer available, but to have a cockroach in the bed is absolutely unacceptable. When you travel for business or a leisure, a hotel should be your home away from home and you should be able to Sleep soundly in a clean and comfortable environment. Needless to say I canceled any future reservations and I will not be coming back to this property. I was so disappointed.

The room had a pungent smell, and even the bathroom, which is supposed to be the cleanest part of the room. The staff is very rude, including the manager The desk boy who takes breaks to hit his vape outside, very rude. If you are rude back, it will be a problem they want you to put up with their unprofessionalism and they’re snarky attitudes and if you speak up It’s a problem. The lady, I’m guessing who was the manager was yelling and watching a game and not paying attention to People needing help, they are laughing in the back rooms and not doing their jobs. I have added photos of the lady who was super rude. I almost fell as if I was being discriminated against.

Staff was/is amazing. Got there first day no hot water they had no problem getting me another room. Second day same thing no hot water. Again changed my room with no problem. Its was amazing customer service. I would happily stay at this location again.

This hotel is not the worst but it is certainly not the best. The staff were the best part, I stayed 3 nights and communicated with multiple employees at the front desk. They were always very pleasant. My issue is with the cleanliness of the hotel. It smells badly of moldy carpet in the lobby, halls, and room. When I checked in there were jelly beans all over my room floor. When they did finally come to clean two days later I could tell them picked up the jelly beans but did not vacuum the whole carpet. I unfortunately will not be staying here again.
