Courtyard Houston By The Galleria

Our family of four had an enjoyable stay at this hotel while visiting the area. The hotel is located near the Galleria mall with tons of dining and shopping options nearby. They have their own parking garage, though there is a nightly parking fee which seems to be pretty standard for hotels in the area. The rooms themselves are a good size, and easily accommodated our family. The room was a bit dated, but was clean and quiet. Service was great and employees were friendly. We ordered breakfast from the lobby restaurant and found the food to be tasty, especially the breakfast burrito. Our kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. We booked a special deal that included free parking and breakfast. I highly recommend checking for that rate if it's available, as it made this hotel stay a great deal.

I want to recognize Ms. Simona for her outstanding customer service! We are in town for the NCA All-Star Cheer competition, and our travel day was a little hectic because we had to check out of one hotel and check into another earlier than expected. Even though we arrived before check-in time, Ms. Simona was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. She went above and beyond to get us checked in quickly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help truly stood out. After a long day of traveling and cheer activities, it meant so much to be greeted by someone who genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. Ms. Simona is a rock star, and the hotel is lucky to have her! Thank you for such a great experience. ⭐👏

Great service! Friendly staff! They were very helpful in finding walkable places to eat and things to do. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The Bistro has a decent selection of food and the Starbucks was limited but still good selections.

Peaceful and quiet location!! Staffs were top tier!! Room was clean and smells good!! Emmanuel was very nice and professional. He helped us to kept our room and we were able to checkin at late night!! Very grateful he did because the hotel we booked 4days prior had cancelled on us 2hrs before we get there. I’m very satisfied with our stay!!

I stay at this Marriott year after year, and it’s because the staff here consistently goes above and beyond. During my recent stay, the elevator issues could have made things difficult, but the team handled everything like absolute pros. A huge shoutout to Josh, who literally climbed 15 flights of stairs to bring me my DoorDash and then brought food up from the bar/restaurant as well. That level of service is rare and truly deserves recognition. Zehra is another standout. She’s always warm, professional, and such a bright spot every time I’m here. I’m so happy she’s back! And I can’t say enough about Thea, She handles all my reservations, cancellations, room requests everything with absolute professionalism, class, and grace. She is truly the reason I choose this property every time. The entire front desk team makes my stays feel effortlessly and that’s not something you find everywhere. If you’re looking for a hotel where the staff truly cares, this location is it. These employees are the reason I remain loyal to Marriott, and I hope management recognizes the incredible work they’re doing.
