Great service! Friendly staff! They were very helpful in finding walkable places to eat and things to do. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The Bistro has a decent selection of food and the Starbucks was limited but still good selections.

I stay at this Marriott year after year, and it’s because the staff here consistently goes above and beyond. During my recent stay, the elevator issues could have made things difficult, but the team handled everything like absolute pros. A huge shoutout to Josh, who literally climbed 15 flights of stairs to bring me my DoorDash and then brought food up from the bar/restaurant as well. That level of service is rare and truly deserves recognition. Zehra is another standout. She’s always warm, professional, and such a bright spot every time I’m here. I’m so happy she’s back! And I can’t say enough about Thea, She handles all my reservations, cancellations, room requests everything with absolute professionalism, class, and grace. She is truly the reason I choose this property every time. The entire front desk team makes my stays feel effortlessly and that’s not something you find everywhere. If you’re looking for a hotel where the staff truly cares, this location is it. These employees are the reason I remain loyal to Marriott, and I hope management recognizes the incredible work they’re doing.

The courtyard by Marriott in Houston by the Galleria is a terrific hotel right in the middle of things. The rooms were clean. The drinks were reasonably priced and the best part was the fun and supportive customer service by the manager and front desk. My brother Mitch had lost a bet and had to check in wearing a pink tutu! They made sure he was wearing it when he checked in and had a good life with him! Everyone seemed to love Mitch prancing around as the bearded ballerina and we hear they will be posting pics of Mitch online. PLEASE let us know if you do post them. Thanks again for helping us make the trip fun and unforgettable! We have told Mitch y’all have requested he come back in his pink tutu!!

This was for my wife's 50th birthday. Terrible experience. Terrible front desk that seemed bothered by us and never greeted us once during our multi day stay. Called ahead and was assured the parking fee would be waved ($50+). It was not. There was no legitimate breakfast after advertising a "Bistro". No bar but advertised "cocktails" Gym equipment from the 90s... I could go on. Overall terrible place to stay in the Galleria area.

Bed Bug Infestation & Complete Failure by Management My parents’ recent stay at this hotel was absolutely horrific due to a confirmed bed bug infestation and extremely poor handling by hotel management. In the middle of the night, we discovered evidence of bed bugs in the room and immediately contacted the front desk around 2:00 AM to request a room change. Despite providing clear evidence, management refused to move us. We were forced to remain in the infested room for the rest of the night, which is completely unacceptable. The following morning, a technician inspected the room. When he lifted the mattress, multiple bed bugs scattered across the bed, and he verbally confirmed that the infestation was real. Unfortunately, by that point, my mother had already received multiple bites and later had to seek medical treatment for them. Management offered no meaningful assistance beyond the bare minimum. They did not provide a same-day laundry option for our contaminated clothing, stating it could not be done until the next day, even though we had already checked out. Because of this, we had no choice but to transport potentially infested clothing in our car and take everything home, creating further risk and stress. The only positive outcome is that Marriott Corporate has agreed to refund the hotel stay, medication costs (approximately $5), dry cleaning (approximately $25), and vehicle cleaning. However, we have not yet received the refund and are still waiting for it to process. On the property level, management has completely disappeared. No follow-up calls, no apology, no accountability, and no additional goodwill gesture whatsoever. This experience was traumatic, unsanitary, and handled with shocking indifference. Being denied a room change during an active bed bug situation is unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering this hotel to stay elsewhere. Avoid at all costs.
