I stayed here for five days on a trip planned and funded by my employer. The rooms look good and even had that newly remodeled smell about them. The food was excellent and hats off to Tish in the kitchen! (She made the best vegetables I’ve ever had!) The staff at the front desk were very helpful, polite, professional and accommodating (especially Natalie!). Overall, I had a good experience staying here and would definitely stay at Marriott Courtyard again. I would say they earned a solid four star rating.

I’ve stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Northeast in Houston for over 30 nights in the past three months, and I want to specifically recognize three outstanding employees: Natalie, SanTonia, and Dujuan. Their customer service is truly exceptional. From day one, they have consistently gone above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. The energy, professionalism, and genuine care they bring every day is second to none and makes a real difference in the overall experience of this property. I sincerely value these three employees and believe they are a major asset to this hotel and to the Marriott brand. Because of them, this property feels less like a hotel and more like a second home. Thank you, Natalie, SanTonia, and Dujuan, for setting the standard for excellent hospitality!

Avoid this Courtyard Marriott at all costs – WORST hotel experience I've ever had!!! I stayed here for over a week (Dec 20-27, 2025) and the shower soap dispensers were nearly empty from the moment I checked in. I reported it to the front desk immediately, and they promised to refill them. Five days later, they were completely empty. I complained again on Dec 26 while the manager was standing right next to the front desk worker – he heard me, the staff took my room number, and assured me it would be handled since I was "scheduled for a room refresh" that same day. The next day (Dec 27), still nothing!!! At 10AM I went down for the fourth time, frustrated beyond belief. No manager on duty that day, of course. The lone front desk worker couldn't even find the supply cart and had to radio housekeeping. 20 minutes later, a cleaner finally showed up with a replacement – acting fake-nice and overly cheerful like that would fix anything. This place is run with total negligence. Housekeeping is lazy, management is absent when you need them, and they clearly do the absolute bare minimum while charging full price. I overheard another guest absolutely furious about a similar hotel issue the day before on 12/26 – now I completely understand why. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else!

Incredible quality rooms. Expensive. (A 16.9oz soda in the Market is over $4). Paid parking garage - public street parking. The staff is mainly where my lack of 5 stars come from. Evening front desk staff and early morning front desk staff (5p.m.-11p.m., and 4a.m.) were incredibly rude and had terrible attitudes. Morning staff at 8a.m. were very friendly/helpful/kind, as were the breakfast bar staff. Overall WOULD stay again, but someone needs to address the behavior of the evening/night staff.

Love the location and will absolutely stay here again! Clean, updated and comfortable rooms in a convenient area working walking distance to several restaurants. The parking garage situation is a bit complicated, as there’s apparently some sort of hotel parking situation in the garage but you can’t access it until you check in upon arrival (mobile key not issued in advance). It’s a lightly inconvenient, but we just paid the parking garage rates (super cheap) to not have to deal with it and walk back to our car.
