I stayed here for five days on a trip planned and funded by my employer. The rooms look good and even had that newly remodeled smell about them. The food was excellent and hats off to Tish in the kitchen! (She made the best vegetables I’ve ever had!) The staff at the front desk were very helpful, polite, professional and accommodating (especially Natalie!). Overall, I had a good experience staying here and would definitely stay at Marriott Courtyard again. I would say they earned a solid four star rating.

The staff was phenomenal. A great team Josh, Taylor, young lady with the Red hair and young chef that be cooking in the morning. I really appreciate you guys and the warm welcoming and conversation. Hospitality is where it’s at. The managers in the kitchen and front desk you were awesome as well. I really enjoyed my stay made it seem like home. Mk room 212

I’ve stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Northeast in Houston for over 30 nights in the past three months, and I want to specifically recognize three outstanding employees: Natalie, SanTonia, and Dujuan. Their customer service is truly exceptional. From day one, they have consistently gone above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. The energy, professionalism, and genuine care they bring every day is second to none and makes a real difference in the overall experience of this property. I sincerely value these three employees and believe they are a major asset to this hotel and to the Marriott brand. Because of them, this property feels less like a hotel and more like a second home. Thank you, Natalie, SanTonia, and Dujuan, for setting the standard for excellent hospitality!

I made an error in selecting the wrong dates for my nieces birthday and when I called to check in they said I had already been charged due to no show. This was a mistake on my part, 100% but I still needed the room for the party and they refused to work with me or even pretend to have empathy for the situation. I booked the room still and because I've paid twice for it, I feel I can be a little more candid: First and biggest problem is the bathroom has no exhaust vent (or door???), so if you're ready to get out of the 100% Texas humidity and into your 300% humidity hotel room? This is your spot. The rooms are hot, we are here during winter in single digit temperatures outside and the room is set to 67 and everyone is sweating. Luckily we can just crank the shower for a few minutes and we can get everything nice and wet for a cool down. The views are of an empty dirt lot or an empty grass lot, it's good to have options. Parking was good, but the hotel was empty so that may change if there is an event or something booked out. All in all I give this place a 3/10 (they are advertised as a 3 star hotel and I find this to be accurate). The rooms were cheap though, just not worth paying for twice...

Avoid this Courtyard Marriott at all costs – WORST hotel experience I've ever had!!! I stayed here for over a week (Dec 20-27, 2025) and the shower soap dispensers were nearly empty from the moment I checked in. I reported it to the front desk immediately, and they promised to refill them. Five days later, they were completely empty. I complained again on Dec 26 while the manager was standing right next to the front desk worker – he heard me, the staff took my room number, and assured me it would be handled since I was "scheduled for a room refresh" that same day. The next day (Dec 27), still nothing!!! At 10AM I went down for the fourth time, frustrated beyond belief. No manager on duty that day, of course. The lone front desk worker couldn't even find the supply cart and had to radio housekeeping. 20 minutes later, a cleaner finally showed up with a replacement – acting fake-nice and overly cheerful like that would fix anything. This place is run with total negligence. Housekeeping is lazy, management is absent when you need them, and they clearly do the absolute bare minimum while charging full price. I overheard another guest absolutely furious about a similar hotel issue the day before on 12/26 – now I completely understand why. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else!
