I booked the room thru my job for my son’s graduation. I called right after I booked and spoke with a lady to confirm, she was very friendly and to the point. I arrived very late on a Monday night and was checked in by a very kind man, not sure if he is the owner. Upon entering the room I too judged them woth detail. I pointed out things that I would do differently, inspected the bedding, finger swiped the tables etc. I enjoyed my stay and the fact that it seems like the family lives here. My son came to visit me and didn’t realize the second floor access was inside so he jumped the make shift gate for the external access to the second floor (thank you for not chasing him away). My only advice would be to turn the room prior to a guest arrival because there was hair in the bed, like long dark strands, and the toilet bowl was a bit settled. I did not see any live bugs or chinches (bed bugs). If you are looking for a decent bed, ac and cable/wifi it’s a good spot to be in. Service was good. No vaping inside and I could’ve done it anyway but the guy was so friendly I chose respect. The town will be booming soon so give them grace for updates. It’s like an econo lodge…. Sleep, shower and go. I also liked the camera placements. I felt safe. That is all.

I booked through hotels. com Here's my experience. When I got there, the upstairs room was already booked for me before asking if any accommodations were needed. We have Disabilities. Stairs are not an option. But we were nicely accommodated for a higher price. There was no handicap parking where I was moved to. I was informed it was the only room left. Asked for blankets. And was asked to come to the office to get them. Reminded lady of disability. So she brought them. It was pouring rain.(See pictures.) In the parking lot. A few cars, maybe. But this was a full location L.O.L The ice machine was not working. Something bit me. 😧 In the voice of:( Forrest Gump.) That's all I have to say about that!

It was very clean and the staff was nice! We requested a refrigerator and microwave and they were provided for us. The room was huge! We had two double beds and then there was a huge "living" area. The sheets were clean. It smelled like coconut when we walked in. The toilet in our room however, would catch at times and wouldn't flush, but they came to fix it each time (it only happened twice). The bath tub had a few stains on the edge but nothing that should stop anyone from staying here! The only other thing was the shower pressure was not very hard but the water was as hot as you wanted it the whole time. Overall we definitely would stay here again. It was cheap, and we had 3 people! We payed $78 for the room and can say that it was definitely worth not going to some big fancy hotel and paying over $100 for the night. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

My experience was ok , The owner is not to friendly & pushy , i got a queen bed & i was there by myself ,i invited my friend over & as we were walking in the room she stoped us & said “ excuse me you said it was just you what she doing here “ i than said this is my friend she is visiting, owner than said “ ok just visit no spending a night “ mind you i paid for the hotel & got a queen bed not a twin bed , she than proceeded to call my phone at 10:20 ish pm & said “ is your friend still there , you said she leaving , not spending a night “ i said yes she is not spending night just visiting she will leave in a lil bit , she than said “ ok she leave right now “ like mam she’s only been here for about a hour , i told her “ no not right now in a lil bit “ than she said “ ok make sure she leave before 11, iam going to lock the doors “ & she kept snooping around the corner & paying attention to everything i do , i did not appreciate it i paid for a room & i wanted privacy that was not given i did not feel comfortable i felt like i had to watch everything i did there i was on edge the entire time , like if you are renting a room out & you have to do all that you minus well just not rent the rooms out if you are constantly being on the lookout & being so strict . i just wanted a place to lay my head during the storm without being bothered . i appreciate the stay but like relax lady

I only gave the rooms 3 stars because this is not a fancy place. That is not to say it wasn't good. For the price, it was very good. My room was clean and affordable which is a big plus. Everything in the room was in good condition and it worked. There was no safe in my room. The hotel managers are very kind and available 24/7. There were plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. For Manvel, I think it's not a bad place to stay.
