DO NOT STAY THERE... THEY ARE THEIVES!!! If I could give them zero stars I would! The place is so run down and not well maintained. Where to start... the door lock was broken (COMPLETE SAFETY/SECURITY ISSUE), the phone line to call from the room wasn't working (need that for emergencies), most of the room lights were't functional, the hallways smelled like drugs, there were trash bags in the ice maker area on the floor, the elevator didn't work (to go up from the first floor) so I had to climb the stairs (everytime) just to go down the elevator, the pool was nasty and dirty, they hardly had anything to eat for breakfast and to top it off (free breakfast is a joke), the front desk employee (Praeradin) was extremly rude with an attitude! He should be fired in my opinion. I asked if he could help us with these issues and he said there was nothing they could do about it then I asked for another room for my family and I and he said they didn't have any available (LIES). He saw how upset I was getting... then all of a sudden there was a room available. I had to leave a day early for business (I booked two nights there) and they wouldn't refund me the unused night! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Overall our stay wasn't very pleasant. We came into town for a wedding, and when we arrived and got checked in our tv wasn't working. We checked in late, so we decided to just leave it for the morning. The next morning, my husband god to speak to them at the front desk and is told that maintenance and housekeeping wouldn't be here until 9, and something should be figured out then. By 10:30-11 am there was no update. I understand the matter was not pressing to them because they weren't the ones who spent money. The lady at the front desk tried giving my husband the run around saying most likely they would come look around 1pm. I ended up asking if there was a manager around, if we could move to another room because that is ridiculous. I was told that there were no rooms clean at the moment, but she would do what she could because when they checked the tv before we came in it was working. Making it seem as though WE broke the tv that we never used. At noon they informed us they had another room available. This morning, my husband tries to take a shower, and in the middle of it the hot water cut off. Idk what is going on, but we will definitely not be coming back to this Comfort Suites next time we have to come to Houston.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. This stay was a major disappointment. From the start, we faced discrimination that made us feel unwelcome. The listing is on airbnb as an apartment but when you arrive, the unit is inside a hotel. Very misleading and it lacks the safety, security, or standards you'd expect. The sheets were stained and dirty, getting new clean ones seemed to be an act of congress. Conditions were unsafe, poorly maintained, and not disclosed. Our vehicle was burglarized, highlighting the lack of onsite security. When reported, the host was unhelpful, uncaring, and offered no support or accountability. The hotel front staff were also unkind and unprofessional. Hospitality and customer care were clearly not priorities. The pattern of negative Google reviews confirms this is an ongoing issue. This stay wasn't just unpleasant — it felt unsafe and disrespectful. We will not return and cannot recommend this place. Airbnb needs to reevaluate this listing and those responsible.

I book hotel rooms daily across the country for my employees and always provide my id and credit card via a form. This is the ONLY hotel I've ever encountered that won't allow that and wanted me to show up in person. I've been on hold for half an hour trying to cancel the reservation (which was prepaid! They're trying to take my money without giving me a room for it!). I would have wanted to use them for our weekly needs in Houston, but now I won't use them for anything ever and will actively warn anyone to stay far away from this inflexible and irritating hotel. ETA: The manager got back to me and now they are trying to extort me to pay an additional nearly $200 for the reservation via pay pal, and I'm supposed to just trust that they'll refund me properly. No thank you. That's extortion. Additional edit: they told me only choice hotels could cancel my reservation. I was on hold with choice for an hour, then they told me actually only the hotel front desk could. Choice opened a formal complaint against this hotel for their actions, asking customers to pay via PayPal is not and will never be according to any official policy. Stay far away from this scam shady hotel.

Unlike other locations that decline at the time of booking when using a virtual-only card (Sezzle, Klarna, etc), this hotel will accept your FULLY PREPAID reservation at booking but refuse to honor it at check in. In this day and age where everything is going digital, it’s quite unfortunate that they accepted a reservation that they wouldn’t honor. Editing to respond to owner: See the attached screen shot. You can’t expect us to read your mind and know your policies when again, unlike every other location, you don’t have them listed. Maybe if you had all of your information properly displayed this could have been prevented, but I’m no mind reader and if you don’t have your specific policies listed then I have no way of knowing. Especially when my past experience is that this card has been both accepted and rejected AT TIME OF BOOKING (not check in) by other locations based off their individual policies. Don’t accept reservations you won’t honor, plain and simple.
