Comfort Suites Near the Galleria

Needed a place to spend the night (and I'm usually staying at Hilton brand) but this location stood out since I've stayed here years ago. Upon checking in, I noticed they were renovating/repainting the 1st floor and when I went up to my room I could tell my room was freshly painted and all the furniture looked brand new. I'm thankful I chose to stay here because I feel safe and its nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again, I just hope that the rooms stay clean. This location is not 100% perfect tho as the front of hotel parking lot is a bit dim at night so make sure you lock your doors, the ice machines on the first 2 floors were not working, and the front desk member may be smoking outside and/or in the middle of changing shifts so may make you wait a moment to check in. Other than that, I don't regret staying here!

The rooms looked newly renovated. Fresh paint, new furniture, and nicely decorated. The water handle in the tub was extremely hard to turn on. I noticed there was a rust stain in the tub and the tub felt uneven. Once I was able to unprie the handle I t became clear that it was difficult because the water was hard to turn off. The lock on the door also didn't work. The surrounding neighborhood was a little concerning but it was quiet. I liked the new amenities.

The staff was kind and attentive, always meeting our needs when asked. However, the hotel itself and its amenities fell short. Our room had a strong dusty, mildew smell upon arrival.The design felt very rustic and outdated. The couch was very uninviting, and had white stains on it, so we didn’t use it. The king-size bed was smaller than expected, very springy, and lacked depth — it felt like sleeping on a thin mattress. Our shower had low water pressure but the tub was still clean. What saved the rating were the friendly staff, the solid breakfast, and the beautiful pool and jacuzzi — it looks like the picture! But I didn’t like how we got locked out because their doors did not work, so we had to walk all the way to the front of the hotel. However Better than many higher-end hotels I’ve stayed at. Those features made our stay more enjoyable despite the room. Hospitality makes all the difference when staying somewhere. A nice hotel with poor service still feels like a bad experience. But even if a hotel isn’t perfect or has outdated amenities, great hospitality can completely change how you feel — it can save the whole stay!

Older hotel but clean and beds were comfy. Management needs to give attention to the exercise room. All three of the machines were somewhat not in working order. Breakfast was fine. They gave us 30 minutes for late checkout. Pool and hot tub looked nice but we did not use them. (We were on points, so our room may have been upgraded a bit.)

Nanna

Not the fanciest place on earth but it is charming and a relaxing space for a busy vacationer! The staff are both professional and friendly, the rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was honestly so much better than we expected for such a cheap price! (Price included with room) We got two rooms for the price of one room closer to where we wanted to visit and were about 20-30 minutes away from all our chosen spots for vacation! Free parking too? This hotel basically made it possible for us to add a whole new stop to our vacation with our savings without compromising quality.🌹
