Several broken items including the TV and phone - never fixed. Hot tub is broken work no plans to repair - mostly why we chose this location - indoor hot tub was advertised. Edit: note added photo from the hotel's page advertising got tub. Added after review. I feel validated putting this because this was a truthful experience. The service was excellent and people nice. Also, yes, I was brought 2 remotes after first being told it couldn't be fixed or had to move rooms. The front desk man did come and after removing electrical tape went to the office and brought me the 2 remotes - both had to be used to run the TV. And that with holding your arm and biting your tongue in just the right position. I'm thankful they gave me a"temporary fix", but it was a problem. The"cosmetic" damage was in the area that needed to receive the remote signal.

If I could give zero stars I would. I just check into my room. Why does this place say I have a 300 dollar incidental fee. I’m sorry am I renting a car. This place is not the Marriott or a high priced hotel. I’m very disappointed and will be complaining all the way to the top. I was told I would pay 25 dollar per fee per night. I’m only staying one night but my card was charged almost 80 dollars this is ridiculous stay far far away from this hotel. They have lost my business… with this nonsense

Room was clean. Good breakfast. Staff were nice. Pool was a dissapointment for me and the kids. Didn't end up swimming. Indoor water temperature was too low... Probably because the room was too cold. Jets were not working. Advertised hot tub was not hot. Light hanging in deep end by electrical wire. Overhead lights were flickering. I read about the pool in the Google reviews but figure the issues would have been addressed by now. Also, know that the pool chair lift was not operable and appeard to be in need of repair. Didn't effect us but if needed by some, I would check on the status before booking a stay. My kids were hoping to be able to utilize the indoor pool in the cooler weather as we have elsewhere. We'll probably try another place when we come to town in a few months to visit the grandparents again. We normally stay elsewhere but that place did not have any vacancies this holiday weekend. Other than the pool not being as advertised the stay was fine.

I tried to cancel my reservation due to extreme weather conditions and the fact that I have PTSD from previous traffic accidents from weather. The hotel AND Allianz insurance refused to cancel and refund..... The trip insurance place said " Based on the information provided, we regret to inform you that we cannot issue a payment for your claim because: Your insurance program provided Trip Cancellation benefits for very specific reasons. Unfortunately, being afraid to travel due to the anticipation of inclement weather is not included among those reasons." So a medical condition is not a good enough reason to cancel and refund a trip. I hope they never havr any Veterans stay there.

!!BEWARE!! Edit: Look how combative management is in every response to every bad review. They are somehow suppressing bad reviews. They do not care about their guests whatsoever. You have been warned. The photos should really speak for themselves, THIS IS NOT EVEN A QUARTER OF THE DAMAGES BY THE WAY. I'm not sure I would be able to upload all the photos and videos into one Google review! Don't even get me started on the service because it is nonexistent here. 99% of the time there is no one even at the front desk and when you ring the buzzer be prepared to wait anywhere from 3-15 minutes for someone to come "help" you. You can tell that nobody wants to be there, it has the most depressing aura. I don't know how Comfort Suites NASA is considered a "3 star hotel" nor how it currently has a 3.7 star rating on Google. My partner and I prepaid a non refundable reservation, as we always do, to save a couple of bucks at nicer mid range hotels and that was our first mistake. Some hotels have had rooms that were maybe a little musty and we would switch to a different room and it would be fine, but this was not the case here. We were already anxious when we saw the state of the elevator. You can see in the photos that it looked like it was not properly completed as the carpet was not fully attached and had white dust all over. I did not get a chance to take a photo of the EXPIRED inspection certificate. Upon walking into our first room, we were SHOCKED that they were even putting guests into this room. It had a mold smell, probably from water damage as there was patches of paint all over the walls and ceiling. The closet door panels were damaged and there was hair on the made bed, which makes you wonder if they even wash their sheets. We immediately asked for a different room, the next room was just barely acceptable, we did note that the toilet had been making noise and thought it would go away and so we left our bags and went out to dinner, but upon coming back the toilet was still making noise and I used the toilet and surprise surprise it did not flush. We once again went downstairs to report the issue with the toilet and the girl working front desk said that maintenance wouldn't be able to come until the next day and so she let us look at THREE more rooms, and each one was worse than the last. Miscellaneous stains everywhere, dents and damage to all furniture and floors. There is actually a slab in the bathroom doorway in one of the rooms, where if you step on it, it actually fully comes out and you could definitely trip on that and hurt yourself. We did not feel safe in this "hotel" and so we left the very first night. We called Choice Hotels corporate number and they were not able to help us at all in putting us in a different affiliated hotel nor were they able to help us in getting a refund and said it was completely up to the hotel GM/ owner because the hotels are "independently owned." Choice Hotels Corp. only offered enough points for a 1 night stay for a 5 night reservation. My BIGGEST issue though is with the general manager/ "owner" Harshal Patel, he lied straight to my face and said that he is only an assistant manager named Russ, but I spoke to multiple different employees that all said he was the manager and also provided information of when, Harshal, the general manager would be working. I even found a photo of him online. He REFUSES to change our reservation to "check out" and lies that it is up to Choice Hotels Corporate when we've called them FOUR times, escalated it to upper management, and each time they've said it is up to the hotel. We have gone back every single day to try to get the matter resolved and today we said we wanted to get police involved to file a report and he had the audacity to tell the police officer that we were TRESPASSING. He did not once listen to us, negotiate with us, and he did not care about us as guests whatsoever. He actually ARGUED with us that these rooms were "up to standard" and continues to refuse us a refund. I have NEVER had a WORSE experience than I have had here.
