The hotel's location is its biggest advantage - right in downtown Houston, walking distance to the convention center, major offices, and plenty of good restaurants. The restaurant inside the property is also convenient for quick meals or meetings. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn't match expectations. The front desk staff was dismissive and unhelpful when I asked about cleaning service and a few basic questions. The room itself felt dated and poorly maintained - the fridge had black spots that looked like mold, which was unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. The housekeeping service was inconsistent, and common areas didn't feel particularly clean or welcoming

I liked the hotel overall and it does its job well. The service is good and the staff is friendly. A very convenient plus is the free coffee and water. The location is great if you’re visiting downtown Houston, as it’s very close to everything. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy — you can hear ambulances and the train, so it might be an issue if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, it’s a good option because of the location and service, as long as you don’t mind some noise.

Motel in a 4-star shell. Rooms were dated and dusty and some of the bedding was stained but at least it was bug-free. External sound-proofing was great, we couldn't hear the guy shouting in the street once we entered the hotel. Internal sound-proofing could use some work, we could clearly hear everything going on in the room next to us. The provided coffee in our rooms came with a single serving (for a room for 2) the day we checked-in and was never refilled throughout our stay, but at least the coffee machine in the lobby was decent. The check-in kiosks were handy and easy to use, which was great because the staff we interacted with were mostly uncommunicative and unhelpful. Overall not the worst place to stay if the prices are motel low but lower your expectations accordingly.

I travel for work to Houston often and had never heard of this hotel. I walk to my office and needed something close. I am so glad I made this choice, every staff member was kind and helpful which I find rare. The rooms are small but I travel alone and dont need extra space, I do need places to work not sitting in my room and there were plenty of locations and all comfortable. They were accommodating, had a yoga session daily on the TV. I felt safe with locked doors and kind attentive valets. Noise level was nonexistent to outside and I was concerned with the closeness of rooms but heard nothing from either side. The restaurant attached had a burger I talked about for two days! So good. This will be my go to hotel when im in Houston for work.

This place was cute. Checked in on a tablet and made my own room keys. How fun.. rooms are quite tiny but are quiet. Water bottle stations in the halls to fill up free water. Nice touch there. Would prefer having single use items like the soaps and shampoo vs a community bottle. Thats not sanitary and very unappealing. The carpet in the rooms is not clean so wear slippers or socks. The bed skirt in our room was also really stained but since I dont sleep on that its just visually gross. Overall its ok.
