Now called “The Foundry” but still the same complaints as the other new residents. When I moved in the unit was filthy. I found urine on the floor, dirty towels in the washer and the carpets were absolutely disgusting. The water had a foul odor from Sulfur and the air filter was filthy. I’ve lived in a lot of apartments over the years in various different states, this has by far been the most disappointing move in. As the other review stated, work orders are left in limbo for the most part as well. There really is no real management and I don’t really think security is valued as things get stolen frequently. Additionally, there a horrible thundering that happens that’s unexplainable. The location is great, but I don’t truly recommend unless you need to be here short term. Seems like some things are now being handled with a new maintenance team but my carpet is still filthy. Photos below are from the day I moved in.

Almost nothing got done/fixed on time. Work orders often needed to be spammed before they were addressed. There were randomly occurring blackouts. The unit I was in still has mold in the ceiling of the AC closet that wasn't properly handled, the mold occurred because of a reoccurring leak. The mold may not be visible because the workers applied bleach and painted over it. The AC filters wouldn't be changed for over 7 months. Some office workers frequently failed to uphold their duties like addressing the aforementioned work orders, handling important documents, answering calls, and providing keys for the mailbox. Some projects that were started remained unfinished, some were never started to begin with. I'd receive excuses rather than results. The lack of accountability was WILD. On a separate note, the area that the building is located in is often plagued by homeless people that seek to pick fights, or are otherwise creating a fuss. Not terrible, but also not worth the price nor the headache.

I love booking here with Sonder! All Sonder staff are professional and punctual with anything I need. They do their very best to accommodate all guests and keep the building clean. It's in a great area!! The homes are spacious and upgraded, nice decor and furniture, clean hallways and they try to keep the garage and elevator clean. I love how close it is to Hermann Park, 288, downtown, and the medical center. I love that plenty people are out jogging with their pets around the area; I feel very safe to be out too. This is a great complex!! I'll add photos later.

We were so excited for our Labor Day weekend trip. We really enjoyed our Sonder experience in Atlanta last summer, so we were looking forward to using Sonder again. Upon arrival, which ended up being very late at night, we realize that there's no blanket for the sofa bed AT ALL. There's also NO HAND SOAP & no shower gel. This location has 0 lobby or assistance other than the app chat feature. They reply that no one is available to assist us until the morning. Luckily we had a small blanket in the truck for the ride. I message them again in the morning to at least try and get a blanket for my son on the sofa bed, and they reply they'll be by in 2 hours to bring a blanket. I said that we didn't want to waste 1/2 the day to wait, & they replied that they would leave it outside our door. Needless to say, it's been 4 hours & we returned to drop some things off & head out again...still nothing. We payed WAY TOO MUCH to stay here & not even be able to utilize the additional "bed", not have ANY SOAP, and no way to get the things we need. We ended up going to Walmart and spending nearly$100 for a blanket, shower gel, and hand soap. NOT WORTH IT! The only reason they got 2 stars is because it is clean. Also, there's no threshold for the bathroom tile & bedroom carpet. I've stepped on the carpet nails twice already 😩 Also, the water pressure is a joke. You literally have to stand against the wall & try to let the water drip on you from the shower head.

I’ve been here at The Foundry for less than 2 months and here’s a glimpse of my experience: - Weeks long waits for maintenance and/or denial of requests for maintenance. - Unit was not properly made ready for move in, and requests to make this right were dismissed. - Cars broken into in garages on both levels. - Constantly encountering large cockroaches in garages. - Packages being stolen with no real assistance or recourse - due to an entry door being broken for weeks. - Dumpster is always constantly overflowing and rats have made themselves a home for themselves there. Overall, this building is not properly cared, managed, or maintained and tenant trust, safety or satisfaction matters not. Response time, friendliness, assistance is all great until the moment you sign. After that, you are ON YOUR OWN. Reports of concern are responded to with canned apology emails, followed by SILENCE, no action. As a the previous reviewer mentioned, the lack of accountability IS WILD. I am beyond DISSAPOINTED.
