My wife and I needed a place to stay for 4 days and chose this Candlewood location. The staff was outstanding and the bed comfort was phenomenal. The water pressure was good, in fact, the shower felt like I was standing in front of a pressure washer! There was a mild "scent" but nothing offensive and to be expected in a pet friendly location. Bottom line...... If I needed a place to stay in League City again I would happily stay here

The first night of check-in I used the kitchenet to cook, there were roaches coming out from the bottom of the cabinet. I then went to take a shower and afterwards tried to blow dry my hair and the blow dryer started making a very loud noise and smoking. I alerted the rep at the desk, she stated that she would send maintenance the following day to check the dryer and spray the room. The next morning, I requested towels and was told they would be taken to my room before my return that afternoon. That evening I arrived, there were no towels, the room had not been sprayed (roaches crawling down the door that I took pictures of), and the blow dryer had not been fixed. I went downstairs and was told by the rep that the maintenance was out that day. She apologized and promised someone would come the next day. The next day, still no towels as requested, roaches not sprayed, and blow dryer not fixed. When I went down to complain the older lady said this is extended stay, we don't do all that. Never staying there again.

If you like your hotel stays with a touch of highway ambiance and a heavy dose of “what died in the AC,” this place delivers. The view of the freeway is oddly hypnotic, and the bed is surprisingly comfortable—like they spent the entire budget on mattresses and gave up after that. Water pressure? Excellent. Temperature? Perfect. Air quality? Questionable. The room smells like someone tried to bottle “Vintage Basement” as a candle scent. Come for the sleep and the shower. Hold your breath for everything else.

Beware! Booked this hotel through booking.com. First room they put us in(3rd floor at the end of the hall) smelt like mildew, we called the front desk asked for another room. Second room they put us in(1st floor) the counter top was dirty, did a mattress check, it had bedbugs and dried up blood stain in the mattress! Went to front desk, asked for a refund. Due to it being booked through booking.com, we had to cancel through them. We asked for the incidental fee to be refunded to the credit card, customer service at the front desk wouldn’t give us confirmation that it was refunded. He called the cops on me because I wanted a copy of the refund. Cops came, they were very nice and understanding. They stated that they have these problems here all the time! So I highly do not recommend this hotel!!!

Very Nice! Wonderful experience! Great employees! I stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoy it my time! Laundry room and gym was awesome! Free coffee . Kitchen was clean and fully stocked and I truly appreciate my time here .. thank u 😊
