I would not recommend staying at this property due to my extremely disappointing experience. Upon entering our room, we found urine and used toilet tissue left in the toilet, and the bathtub was visibly dirty. I had to request cleaning supplies from housekeeping and clean the bathroom myself. Additionally, the kitchen counter had not been properly wiped down, and several utensils in the drawer had dried food residue on them, indicating they had not been thoroughly cleaned. Another issue was the laundry facilities. Outside individuals appear to use the on-site laundry, making it very difficult for paying guests to access and complete their own laundry. Customer service was also concerning. The morning front desk attendant was consistently seated in the back area, requiring guests to call out for assistance in order to receive help. When I attempted to address my concerns, the manager was dismissive, spoke over me, and was rude during our interaction. This made an already frustrating situation even more disappointing. Overall, this stay did not meet basic cleanliness or service expectations. If I had the option, I would not award any stars. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements. UPDATE: I would like to clarify several points regarding my stay. I did report the cleanliness issues to the front desk immediately after entering the room. That is how I obtained the cleaning spray and towel from housekeeping. I was informed that someone would address the issue; however, the housekeeper was already assisting in another room, and rather than wait further in an unsanitary space, I chose to clean the bathroom myself. Regarding the alleged damages, I respectfully disagree with the claim. I did not cause any damage to the room. If there had been any damages for which I was responsible, I would have addressed them accordingly. Suggesting that I “refused to pay” is inaccurate. I simply declined responsibility for something I did not cause. Additionally, my experience with management felt combative rather than solution-oriented. When I attempted to discuss my concerns, I felt spoken over and dismissed. As a paying guest, I expected professionalism and a willingness to resolve issues, not defensiveness. My intention in leaving feedback was to honestly share my experience. I hope this clarifies the situation and encourages a more constructive approach to guest concerns moving forward.

I had a great and friendly experience. The morning staff was amazing! I was able to take advantage of the kitchen 🍽 area of my room. The evening staff was outstanding! I was abke to get some good night's sleep. The bed was cozy. Overall my stay was perfect and I will return!🏆🎖

I stayed at Candlewood Suites Houston North for more than 21 days, and unfortunately, the experience was far below IHG’s standards. Housekeeping was only offered once a week. What kind of guest experience is that? For a property charging $85 per night, it is unreasonable to expect guests to wait a full week for cleaning. This feels like cost-cutting at the expense of basic comfort and hygiene. Guests should not be treated this way, regardless of the rate they are paying. On top of that, the front desk staff were consistently unhelpful. Every time I asked for assistance, I was told to “talk to the manager in the morning” instead of receiving immediate support. Phone calls went unanswered, and staff often had no knowledge about basic hotel information. This shows a complete lack of accountability and professionalism. The attitude at this property is dismissive — as if because the nightly rate is around $85, guests should accept substandard service. That is unacceptable. For just a few dollars more at nearby hotels, I received far superior hospitality, cleaning, and respect. An apology after the fact means nothing. It is too late, and it does not correct the frustration and disappointment I experienced throughout a 3-week stay. IHG should not allow a property under its brand to operate this way. I urge corporate leadership to review this location’s management, training, and operations. The current standards are far below what IHG promises its guests.

The service is horrible! Had a question and the manager who is a female that had a very strong accent couldnt answer my question & said “have a good day” hung up on me in the middle of my question. Took my business elsewhere. Dont be a manager with a rude personality Edit: NOTHING WAS CLARIFIED, please don’t lie and view/play the cameras.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was exceptional — the staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless, and I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Another great feature was the parking. The hotel offers a spacious and secure parking area, which made things very convenient for me. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience. I will definitely be coming back!
