Candlewood Suites Houston Kingwood

We booked last minute for christmas. The double i booked was not available so they did the right thing and called me before I showed up and there was an issue. Instead they called me with a solution. Management was more than hospitable and willing to work with us. Showed us our proposed substitute rooms before we paid. All I can say is may have a 2 or 3 motel rating but Management made it feel like a 5 star accommodation. You get what you pay for but here they definitely follow through with their service. Thank you and your team for a great stay with what you could accommodate and keeping me informed with my options open. Would stay here again just because of the way I was treated.

My job takes me all over the country. I have stayed in numerous Extended Stay Hotels, (30+) and this one by far is NUMBER 1. Staff exceptionally accommodating, kind courteous and customer service is their top priority. Main thing is the cleanliness of which this hotel is spotless. The hotel interior and grounds are well kept. Thanks so much Extended Stay team.

Stayed at this Extended Stay and would never stay at another one. The room smelled so bad. The A/C had the smell coming out of it. The rif-raf that was coming in & out of there was very sketchy. Not a great place to stay at. Very loud all night. Not sure what type of operation is being ran out of there! Lets just say it's not a place you want to stay at. If felt very unsafe!!!!!

The lady was as nice as she could be, I think she was embarrassed, given the condition and even worst the smell. Walked in, there were people listening to music in the lobby at like midnight. The lady checked me in - I went to the room and didn’t want to get iut the elevator. I guess the “2nd floor” has a bad smell no one knows why, but it made me sick to my stomach. 🤮 She gave me another room. 🤮. Another room…. Same. Don’t stay here 🤮

Absolutely NOT! I will never return to this location. I'll start with the good though then go into why I would not be returning and would NOT recommend. There were 3 Good things. (1.) The price was great and they require no deposit. (2.) The location is close to Deerbrook Mall and other stores and places to eat on fm1960. (3.) The service was good. Anytime I had a question the front desk Lady answered it and was helpful and nice. Now let's get into why i would NEVER return and why I would advise that you choose some place else! When you first walk in it smells like dog, when you get into the hallway after riding the elevator it smells worse. I can't explain the smell it's horrendous, my children described it as "monkey butt" so that was off putting. We get into the room there were stains on the carpet and stains on the chair. The wifi was not working so I had to connect my devices to my phone Hotspot. I called the front desk lady to ask about the wifi she helped as best as she could but the wifi still did not work. I laid down trying to get comfortable but had a buggy feeling over my body because of the stains and smell as I was trying to get comfortable and was eating a snack in the bed I noticed hair in the sheets that did not belong to me or my children. We are african american our hair is coarse and curly, tight curls. Worst of all I found an old used CONDOM by the trash! I thought it was a piece of trash or a piece of a plastic bag but I picked it up and noticed it was an old used CONDOM!!! I was extremely disgusted. I am glad I found it before my children did! Then they say they serve free breakfast and all they offer are muffins, oatmeal, hot chocolate and coffee! Overall this place was smelly and disgusting and I dont advise you stay here unless you have no other choice.
