I was charged twice one day, not charged enough another day, no breakfast which was not mentioned and is stated in the email as being provided. Not ADA compliant by having a broken elevator that was not mentioned either. Will take to small claims court since my requests to rectify such inaction and missteps have been ignored. I’d be more lenient with these things a leaving a higher review if I was at least told these things before booking For a three nights stay with a dog in a room with two queen beds (it’s all they had) it was $300 total. Tbf it was last minute but,,,,,,,,, going to a sober living place that costs $800 a month. Life hack right there. No pets allowed though ….. anyway. Will take to small claims court.

Room was spacious other than than everything worst. The carpet was extremely dirty and full of dust, nails and lost or pieces of glass scattered. I even got hurt with a piece of glass. The receptionist was not friendly and not professionally behaved. Breakfast was just for namesake.Swimming pool was not operational. Overall stay was not extremely disappointing. Not recommended. Avoid stay here unless u not find any other hotel.

This hotel was purchased by Nagin Investments LLC in March of 2025. All of the Wyndham branding still exists in and on the building, but you will not earn, nor can you use rewards points. The pool is closed indefinitely. There is no breakfast. The coolers in the alcove by the check-in desk were empty. That, combined with the fact that the tap water is warm enough to steep tea, means that there is nothing cold to drink in the building unless you bring it yourself. The room had multiple wall outlets torn out of the walls, with no repairs made. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the shower are all Dove brand. The florescent orange chemicals inside the dispensers is not Dove. The view from my window consistently of burnt rubber donuts in the parking lot below. Exterior lighting at night was non-existent. We almost left for safety concerns.

My stay at the Baymont by Wyndham Houston/Westchase was mostly pleasant. The room was clean, the amenities were well-maintained, and the overall environment was comfortable and quiet—perfect for a restful night. However, my experience at check-in was tainted by the front desk staff asking inappropriate and intrusive personal questions. It left me feeling uncomfortable and undermined the professionalism I expected from a reputable hotel brand. With better training and attention to guest boundaries at the front desk, this could have easily been a 5-star stay.

Pool apparently hasn’t been in service for at least 8 months according to staff. The pool was the only reason we chose this place. They’re working on renovating right now but the rooms currently are older, some smell, some are dirty where they think you won’t look, most have sticky carpet. There are some people I think live in the hotel maybe, and hotbox the hotel with weed. The hotels around this one are all abandoned or burnt down and boarded up, not a great street but had no problems due to that. The first room we had was dirty and sticky and gross so I asked to change rooms or get out of my reservation. Man at the desk was very kind and went up with me to check on all the empty rooms to see if they were any better. One out of the 4 was acceptable but has a weird smell. Better than the others with sticky carpets or animal smells. Final room was clean, beds are comfortable. Coffee maker missing a piece. Water pressure depends on room - gross room had good pressure, clean room had zero pressure. Water heater doesn’t really work, just blast the hot for a while and you’ll have warm water in a few. Door doesn’t really fit frame or something, light from hallway all the time and you can hear inside the room from the hall. But can’t hear other people in their rooms from inside the room. Staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast served every morning, runs out fast but is replenished until 8ish and closes at 9. Location is good if you are here for westchase, briar, alief area or to be nearby to Katy. Getting to city center or east side is hell. But that’s a “Welcome to Houston” sort of problem. Traffic and drivers suck here. Price definitely shouldn’t be above $50 a night though. I use Wyndham hotels almost exclusively and this is the worst I’ve ever been to.
