Best Western Plus Hobby Airport Inn & Suites

First of all, service is SPLENDID. Thank you so much to the ladies at the front desk and the dining area. Always smiling and very accommodating. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast had some variety. I liked the breakfast taco option. Location was great. Hotel is between the museum district and NASA, and close enough to Galveston. We booked a king bed with a sitting area so it was a larger room because we have our toddler with us and needed space. It was spacious enough. Now the cons. There was a mat of some sort under the cabinetry housing the refrigerator and microwave oven that looked very old and frayed (and a somewhat gross). The fridge itself was old but it served it's purpose so I'm thankful it is there. On our first night, we found a small cockroach on the counter on top of the refrigerator. To the hotel management: hope you're doing some pest control. Also, our sliding shower door didn't close properly. I had to hold the door while my husband gave our toddler a shower. I also used my toe to keep the door in place while I took a shower. Also, the walls are thin. I could hear the snoring from the other room on our 3rd night and I barely had sleep. I guess that guest was not there on our first two nights. I did not ask to be transfered to another room because we had a toddler so it was so hard to move around and we had already settled in with our stuff and his toys.

This was a great hotel to stay at the front counter in the evening time. Very nice. Young lady, we stayed there to go on a cruise. The next morning, and they allowed us to keep our vehicles on-site. They also allowed us to eat our catered food downstairs in the breakfast area. And we also shared with the staff. We will be back to stay here again. It's in a convenient location, right down the street from the Airport and lots of shopping.

Our room had two queen size beds. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The towels set up in the restroom were unique. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights.

Nice location, great quick shuttle service to and from the airport with a friendly driver. Nice breakfast and the gentleman at the front counter from Louisiana was beyond professional and knowledgeable. My only complaint would be the doors slamming down the hallway. They desperately need to have air door stoppers. It's a small fix that would help increase the quality of sleep.

Great place to stay close to Hobby Houston Airport. Airport shuttle available to take you to Airport. Continental breakfast with coffee and juices provided to start your morning. Price is right if booked through Expedia. $50 Uber rides to Galveston Port from Hotel.
