Really liked this little place. If you are looking for a corporate perfect and shiny hotel, this isn't necessarily it. But if you are looking for simple, comfortable, with a great staff, this is a great fit. There is a small kitchenette - just be aware that you may need to bring or buy items to fully leverage it. But having a full fridge and a microwave for leftovers was fantastic. Lots of good food options in walking distance. Overall, a cozy stay with great hands-on service from the staff.

My stay at the Athens Hotel and Suites was absolutely wonderful! The gentlemen at the front desk were exceptionally accommodating and kind from the moment I walked in, and they provided great recommendations on local food and businesses. The room was very clean, had great heating/cooling, and had very nice amenities. The location is very convenient as it is just a few minutes walk from the convention center. I would highly recommend the Athens Hotel and Suites to anyone visiting Houston, you will be treated to service and pricing much better than nearby hotels!

Service and Room were excellent. Very nice and clean. The only downside is where it is at, for instance no parking around, but to get a parking voucher you have to park 2 blocks away in a parking lot. Overall, it was not bad at all just having to park blocks away was the downfall.

Went to a concert at the Toyota Center and this could not have been a better place to stay! Not even a full block walk away, it took max 2 minutes walking. The room was cozy and clean, and there was a kitchenette which was so convenient! The staff was so helpful too! Victor at the front desk waited for us to check in late when our flight was delayed and was continuously kind and helpful throughout our stay. I will absolutely stay here again when coming to Houston in the future!

We really enjoyed the stay, great location and friendly staff. The staff really cares about you and treats you like family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. 5 stars. John is a wonderful owner!
