Room was overpriced for it's rough condition, and the toilet wouldn't flush. Loud people next door banging on their doors all night. Television A/C was okay.

I wish I had taken photos, and I am shamed to have visited this motel. It is not "America's best"!! Step your game up because this experience was horrible. There weren't any signs of bed bugs or roaches, but the property is run down, and upkeep is really poor. Sheets, towels, pillows, just the amenities are very poor. I don't recommend staying at this motel. It needs to be torn down. The days I stayed were absolutely an experience I would never want to have again. There is no phone line in the room to contact the front desk. It was the most horrible place I have ever stayed in my life.

I recently stayed at the this American Inn and here is my review. I like traveling cheap and motels are my go to when I'm out of town. Well I decided to stop and check in at this motel for a weekend. Now don't get me wrong I am fully aware of where this motel is located, but $65 a night for the condition the room was is a bit mind blowing. When I first entered the room, I could tell it was not properly cleaned. The floor was still dirty, the sofa was dirty, the tub walls still had soap scum on it, and hair in the tub. The bed and sheets are pretty soft, but the cigarette burns all over the very thin comforter is a complete turn off. When I pulled the sheets back, there was hair on the sheets under a made up bed. Now surprisingly there was no bed bugs! The room looked like it was worn down. Dirty walls, dirty doors, and windows. Dirty furniture full of cigarette burn stains. I guess the last person who rented the room was a dealer because 2 junkies knocked on my door after 12am. On the flip side the bed slept pretty good and I did have a key card. Ice machine is outside and kinda dirty. Honestly don't think it was worth $65 a night. This place looked like it had locals permanently living there. Not really a good place for travelers

I'd say this place is good for what you're paying. This is a budget hotel, no bells or whistles. The room we got was pretty spacious and comfortable. There were cigarette burns on the bed cover and what looked like white paint on the mini fridge, but otherwise the place looked fine. It's in a quiet area and we didn't really hear much from the other guests. There was also a little stray cat wandering around the parking lot who followed us up to the second floor. She was very friendly. Overall I'd recommend this place if you need a cheaper place to stay for a few nights.

Not a bad place at all to stay for us, we had a pleasant time and rest, location was alright even with the noise from highway across. LED lights accents look so cool at night. Parking lot got crowded at night, but no issues at all. Room was nice and looked like recently modern remodeled, only 2 complaints: 1) AC filters were dirty we had to Lysol sanitized anyways, and 2) often deep cleaning is most needed such as to get trash from loveseat and dust from behind counters and underneath bed. Check in and out was a breeze through Expedia.
