Americas Best Value Inn, you are the only hotel that has ever denied us a refund... The first time was when we had the bad ice storms a few years ago, and my son wrecked his truck and was stranded, but got a ride to ur hotel from a kind stranger. The next day, he was anxiously awaiting the safe arrival of his friend to get a ride back home, uncertain they would make it due to inclement weather issues on the roads, and NO CELL SERVICE! So he paid for an extra night to beat your check-out time, only to have his friend arrive 20 minutes later, so we asked for a refund and you said no... No empathy that his friend made it. Heartless! And now, I'm in town for my 50th BDay, my fiend and I at looking for where close to stay nearest the establishment we withdraw be celebrating at, and We discovered that within 10 minutes, so we asked for a refund and you said NO. I take it upon myself as a reputable contributor on Google Maps to provide positive and negative feedback of every establishment I engage with, And despite the reasons you have inflicted such a No Refund Policy, even though one exists, I will deter the good citizens of our town to avoid your establishments. It's just bad business when you can't take every situation into account.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! The staff was rude when asked about the breakfast that was supposed to be included as it was listed where I reserved the room. There were drug addicts wondering around the property all hours of the night on the property. There were kids stomping in the room above us until after 10 pm. This seems like an extended stay hotel and if I would have known that I would have never gotten a room there. It was horrible. Also the fridge was dirty and so was the bathroom. Housekeeping at this place isn't doing a good job either. I won't ever go back to an America Best Value Inn!

The rooms are OK the only problem I had was the lights in the bathroom didn't work when I came in but they came to replace the bulb, and the room doesn't have covers only the white sheets and the blankets they give are like a thin brown blanket so you might want to bring your own comforter. Over all it's in a good location with restaurants and stores right there. Plus they are 1 of the few places that accept the Fema rooms, but it's a pretty good room for a budget room.

Had an issue with the A/C last night, and the owner himself came to fix it the following morning. Great customer service, and this hotel is one of a very few in Houston faithfully assisting with FEMA claims after Hurricane Beryl. I will recommend this location to anyone who needs a place to stay for the night or even weeks.
