Caution Regarding Investment or Lease at 2400 McCue I strongly advise against entering into any investment or lease agreement involving this property. Despite its initial appearance, the conditions are significantly below expectations—arguably worse than those found in some senior living facilities. Surveillance and Management Practices Management enforces an intrusive, “Big Brother”-style surveillance system, closely monitoring residents. The community is littered with signage enforcing rigid rules, and any attempt to make even minor adjustments for personal comfort or that of your guests is met with strict opposition. The advertised amenities are not practically accessible, as their use is heavily regulated. Adding to the sense of constant oversight, a few retired residents routinely patrol the property, taking photos of perceived violations and reporting them. This contributes to a hostile and uncomfortable living environment. Hostile Community Environment Residents must exercise extreme caution in how they interact and engage within the community. Any behavior or request that deviates from management’s preferences may result in resistance or penalties. For example, although the pool may appear attractive during a tour, residents are later warned that only two guests are allowed—and violations often result in harassment or fines. Similarly, fines are issued for infractions such as failing to break down cardboard boxes in the trash chute area. Unreasonable Restrictions and Policies This may be the only property in the metropolitan area that prohibits weekend move-ins and move-outs. Many residents perceive this policy as being motivated by management’s unwillingness to work on weekends, holidays, or even the days leading up to a holiday. This restriction places an unnecessary burden on residents and creates additional logistical challenges. Management Concerns and Staff Turnover The current management style can reasonably be described as harassing. The new manager was trained by the former one, and unfortunately, the same approach continues—unless, it seems, the resident is a member of the Board of Directors. Notably, three maintenance employees have resigned within the past few weeks. In my opinion, this turnover further reflects the issues within the building’s management. Conflict of Interest in Public Reviews I am also aware that some of the positive reviews about this property may come from individuals with a conflict of interest—potentially those who have had unsold units on the market for extended periods. It appears there may be a deliberate effort to suppress or obscure the truth about the community environment in order to enhance property values or facilitate unit sales. Extreme caution is strongly advised before signing any lease or contract related to this property. While a brief tour may highlight attractive features like the pool, the reality of daily living in this community can be far more restrictive, stressful, and coercively controlled than anticipated. Please refer to the attached photos for supporting documentation as I don't imagine facts.

This is a really lovely place to live. I see the Galleria from every window. Walking around the corner to work is such a joy. My husband and I like to walk on Friday evenings to have dinner and a drink and maybe a little shopping. Everything is so close. It has been easy to keep a workout routine at the fitness center right there in the courtyard with views of the palm trees, stream, bridge and landscaping. I always feel safe and protected here with the doors opening to the hall, not the outside, and the security team. The management responds immediately when I need something. I find living at 2400 McCue affordable considering the location.

I have lived in this building for 17 years, and I love it. I appreciate it more every day. It is equidistant to everything. I can walk around and enjoy the quietness of the surroundings, even though it is close to busy areas. I don't hear the noise of cars and it's not hard to get home during rush hour. Living here has been very pleasant.
