Wave Dancer Charters

Drove down to Galveston for a weekend of fishing and booked a 4 hour trip with Wave Dancer Charters. Storms and heavy rain were forecasted throughout much of the day. Captain Corey kept an eye on those forecastes for most of the night before our trip. Capt Corey stayed in close communication with us and provided regular weather updates. Capt Corey saw a window of opportunity to get us hooked up with some big Red fish and made it happen! Through Capt Corey's due diligence, we had beautiful weather and a fantastic experience. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and someone who truly takes pride in his work! We had a great time and highly recommend Wave Dancer Charters and more especially Capt Corey. Thanks again bud!

Captain Corey did a great job of providing an experience. We caught fish at every spot, not all keepers, still fun to reel in. Make sure to tighten the drag, cause they’ll put you on some big ones, “Godzilla” fish.

We went on a four hour afternoon fishing trip. We caught two redfish. The Captain and his hand were outstanding! They took the time to explain things and were always very courteous. I have been booking trips with this company since 2020. Never disappointed. Thanks very much.

"Don't Instigate the Instigator" Thank you God for blessing us with Wave Dancer Charters, WOW, what an awesome company. I booked a Deep Sea 12 hr. trip as a gift for my husband's retirement, and I asked Wave Dancer to make it special. Little did I know how special it would be for him. Captain Taylor is an expert at his craft, everyplace we stopped was gold. My husband pulled out his badge one more time to pull in the Beast! He caught the fish of a lifetime a "Cubera Snapper" 5' 109.12 lb. I can't get the smile off my husband's face. We also caught our limit of Amberjack, Snappers, and others. We even hooked 2 sharks. Captain Taylor and Trent were very patient with us and showed us the how, then it was on. We are Wave Dancer "Customers for Life". We are already planning 3 more trips, Deep Sea and Tuna. Captain Taylor, please....please....get my electric reel ready. Thank you, Wave Dancer Charters, for putting my husband's fishing story in the newspaper and Facebook, that Cubera Snapper was truly a once in a lifetime catch. It was well deserved, but above all, it would not have happened without Captain Taylor, and Trent of Wave Dancer Charters. I can't recommend this company enough. We had such a great time on our 12-hour deep sea fishing trip. The Bertram Wave Dancer 2 was an incredible boat. It’s been kept in such great condition and I really appreciated how Captain Greg was transparent about the current maintenance status of the boat. The inside cabin was nice to relax and eat lunch between fishing spots. Captain Greg and his deckhand Johnny were very kind and down to earth people. They were super knowledgeable about fishing, boating, survival/emergency situations. I also really appreciated how relentless Captain Greg was to get us on some fish to catch our limit despite there being hurricane force currents that kept us drifting off our spots. We caught Red Snapper, hooked into a King fish, a couple sharks, and got one 250lb shark to the surface. Talk about a thrill! Lastly, Captain Greg was very quick to respond to my texts leading up to the trip. I had concern about potential weather cancellations but he ensured me that the weather forecast looked good and if bad weather did cause us to cancel, I could reschedule or get my deposit back. The day turned out to be very nice and we made memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Captain Greg, Johnny, and Wave Dancer Charters, it was well worth it!
