My experience with the UWM team has been nothing short of spectacular! As an LO who is learning more of the processing side to support my broker and become an even more successful and knowledgable LO, I always receive fast and accurate information and support. Whether it's from our Account Executives Matt Hancock and Tom Federico, their support team, underwriting, compliance, closing, etc. I always feel welcome and appreciated. Today, I had the pleasure of working with Underwriter II, Todd McMahon - he listened and handled my questions like a pro. Within an hour we had a clear to close. Todd - you're a rock star! I've also had a couple of calls with Andrew Simmons - Underwriter II - he's been amazing, too! Over the past week, I have also starting using PA+, Chat UWM, and other great innovations only available through UWM. Keep hiring and training amazing staff members and keep innovating for speed, efficiency and accuracy. I'm all in with UWM!!!

Jason Johnson, a loan coordinator at United Wholesale Mortgage, consistently goes above and beyond. Every time I submit a loan, he is incredibly thorough, which results in fast, clean submissions that are absolutely complete. On top of that, he proactively takes extra steps, whether it’s pushing items to the PA team for insurance, escrow, or other details—without ever being asked. It’s a pleasure working with someone who works as hard as I do and genuinely cares about getting things done the right way. UWM should be grateful to have someone like Jason on their team.

Dominic was covering for my assigned underwriter and happened to pick up my call by chance — yet he treated my file as if it were his own. After I had spent three weeks trying to resolve a complex restructuring issue, Dominic stepped in, took the time to understand the full picture, and worked tirelessly to find a solution. I have had a severely negative experience with UWM as an existing and returning customer. I tried using a new bank account for my automatic payment (after several months of successful auto payments with my previous bank account). For some reason that account was not compatible with UWM's system and the payments would not go through despite having sufficient funds in the account. When my automatic payment didn't work, I made a manual payment. However, I received no notification that it didn't go through. In attempts to figure out what was wrong with the account, I initiated several payments over the course of a couple of weeks that failed and I was then blocked from making payments online. While trying to communicate with their customer support on how to reverse this lock-out and then finally figuring out a path forward for bringing my account to current (after requesting a callback from a supervisor and not receiving one and having to call back several times), they reported the missed payment and impacted my credit. I would have LOVED to make my payment immediately online through my previous bank account, but they locked me out of it and blocked me from making my payment on time. They reported my credit while I was desperately trying to just give them my money. I even sent in an additional payment for the next month as well. This has been an extremely stressful process and I've never felt more screwed over and disabled in my life. I was begging them to let me make my payments, but instead they made it a much longer and more difficult process. I have been a customer for several years now and I would expect them to take better care of their customers and make corrections for these types of unique situations.
