I am a Realtor in Houston, and had an older home that only had a powder (half) bathroom in the primary bedroom. That's a tough sell. While the home had some good updates, it was still old, and once it was vacant, it showed it. Showhomes Houston came in and staged the "main selling areas" as we call it (kitchen, living room, primary bedroom), and it made a huge difference. Now, buyers were not distracted by the age of the home. They got to see the rooms and space utilized with not only furniture, but practical decor. In a market where homes are sitting and selling for below list price, this home was on the market for only 10 days and sold for full price. No doubt the presentation of the property through their staging was a huge part of that. They communicate extremely well with the listing agent and seller on the staging day and de-staging day and the seller did not have to do a thing. Words cannot describe how happy I am with Showhomes Houston. I met Shelley Barndollar at a staging workshop for realtors that she hosted and I was extraordinarily impressed. It didn't take long to make Showhomes Houston my "go to" stager! My listing sold in 1 day and I was thrilled about the way it looked, as was my Seller. Shelley & Pratt also use a professional photographer to shoot their staging projects. I was able to supplement my listing photos with theirs and it truly made a difference. Highly Recommended!
