I am a homeowner in this community with dues current. Since 2022, I have submitted multiple maintenance tickets regarding raccoon intrusion within walls and crawlspace areas. Temporary pest control measures were performed; however, vendors have indicated structural repairs to exterior common elements are required for permanent resolution. In August 2025, I reported a detached exterior gutter. As of February 2026, it remains unrepaired and is now hanging from the building, creating a visible safety concern and water intrusion issues. Under the governing documents, exterior common elements fall under Board responsibility. My concern is not with vendor outreach, but with the lack of timely Board authorization for necessary structural repairs. As owners who pay regular dues, we reasonably expect proactive maintenance to protect safety and property values.

I had a great experience working with Sheila at Houston HOA. From the start, she made the proposal process smooth and straightforward, and I really appreciated how transparent she was throughout each step. Her communication was clear, her follow-up was consistent, and she responded quickly even during the busy holiday hustle. It’s rare to find someone who’s this organized and easy to work with while juggling end-of-year deadlines. Having worked in HOA management before, I can honestly say she would be a dream Community Assistant Manager to have supporting any portfolio. Highly recommend working with her and Houston HOA!!

Houston HOA Management will overpromise and under deliver. In short, that's my experience with their service. I'll provide one example even though I have many. My community had an in depth discussion about water consumption and the water bills for the community in April 2024. There were follow ups that Houston HOA committed to completing. Here we are in late December 2025 almost 2 years later and the follow ups have not been completed despite multiple attempts to get a response. It's clear that we pay Houston HOA to do whatever they want to do rather than to serve the needs of the community. Updating this review in response to the comments from Houston HOA written on 12/23/2025: My comment is not caused by in the increase in assessments. The increase in assessments for 2026 is not the first nor second time that an increase has occurred. Therefore, you are incorrect and have further demonstrated the poor service that Houston HOA provides. What the community was promised in April 2024 was more transparency on water costs and water consumption. If you want to create a narrative to discount my comment, go ahead. The lack of ownership and accountability you are demonstrating speaks for itself.

As a vendor, working with Louie and Houston HOA Management on a managed community fence was a smooth process. Communication was prompt and getting set up in their system was quick and easy. I appreciate the opportunity to work together and look forward for any potential future projects. Thank you!

It is with absolute sincerity I am leaving a top review for this firm, and if I could give a higher ranking, I would. Aside from Tara Hirsch running a tight ship and always addressing issues in the upmost professional manner, her team consistently demonstrates a willingness to resolve the issue at hand. It has been over four years since they took over our management and every aspect of the community has improved. Most importantly, getting the books in order. Before believing my post, or any other (good or bad), I encourage you to look at their track record with all of the communities they manage. Accomplishments speak for themselves.
