Moved in May 2023, moved out May 2024. 6 months moving in people who worked there started to drop off like flies. When we only had a few months left I tried contacting the office to learn about deposits and what not. Never heard anything. On my last day still didn’t hear from anyone. I paid 300$ for professional house cleaners, leaving it better than I found it. I ended up just leaving the keys on the counter and leaving because what else was I supposed to do? 9 months later when trying to put an offer on a house I find out I had a 400$ collection bill that took a major hit on my credit. Absolute scam of a property. DO NOT MOVE HERE. There are so many beautiful places in the heights for cheaper. This is barely even the heights. It’s literally airline and Cavalcade.

I never thought that a new property management company taking over would make such a negative impact. I have been living at Waterford at Summer Park in Rosenberg for the last 6 years and when Cushman & Wakefield took over it went downhill. They immediately raised all the fees (carport, pet rent, etc.) as well as the rents without making any improvements. Before they took over someone always answered the phone in the office and your concerns or questions would be addressed right away. Same with emails. Now? Nothing! All calls go through an answering service. You can leave messages but they are never returned and same goes for emails. There has been so much staff turnover that I couldn't tell you who manages the property now. Most of my neighbors have either already moved out or are planning to move. None of us want to be here anymore.

We visited the Montecito leasing office to rent an apartment and were originally given a price of $1581, which we have in writing. They told us this price would be held for 48 hours. When we returned the next day—well within that time frame—they said the previous agent didn’t save the quote, so the price had changed to $1600. Still, we didn’t complain and proceeded with the application. During the application process, another different price showed up. When we brought it up, the staff member told us not to worry, that it wasn’t important, and that she would fix it with management after approval. Yesterday our application was approved. But when we went in today, the price had changed again—this time to $1637. After we insisted, they finally honored the $1600 price. However, they had also previously told us there was a $750 off promotion for 2-bedroom apartments in the first month. Now they say we don’t qualify because we’re the 6th applicant and the promotion was for the first 5 applicants only—something they never mentioned before. Changing prices multiple times and withholding key details about promotions is extremely unprofessional. We haven’t even moved in yet and we’re already having a frustrating and disappointing experience. It doesn’t feel trustworthy.

Update 4/1/25: Talk about a crew of incompetent employees that represent this company. No final statement was mailed to the forwarding address that was provided on 2/28/25, which was my move out date from Crossing at Timbergrove. Magically, no one had knowledge of anything, even though I’ve received every piece of mail to my new address but from Cushman & Wakefield. When did Margot Brown become the CEO of Cushman & Wakefield’s multifamily property division? Because apparently, there’s no one above her at the company. Laughable. They sent my account to collections - IQ Data - without ever sending me a final statement to pay. Jessica Pina sent a final statement via email on 3/24/25 stating it had been turned over. Margot went back and forth, very unclear as to what happened. Over $129 payment that I could have handled immediately had I been provided with next steps. The problem isn’t the tenants, the reviews at that property clearly show that. The problem lies right within your corporate structure with your employees. Run and tell the “corporate attorney” that, as Margot Brown threatened in her email, as if that is even remotely an inkling of a concern of mine. Pathetic. Update 2/28/25: Today is the official end of lease date, and still, no responses have been received. Additionally, no responses to my lease release agreement inquiries have been provided since 2/27/25, and no one at their main office has returned my phone calls (as the Google response stated to reach out to them below). Crossings at Timbergrove resident. Community is retaliating against my approved medical reasonable accommodation under ADA laws, by not providing move out instructions, or stating how I am able to return my keys and gate passes. I’ve been asking for several days, to Margot Brown, who has blatantly ignored my requests as she has much of my tenancy. My move out date is 2/28 and my approval via email from Talisha Burnett-Oliver to move due to a medical accommodation was 1/29. There is no reason I should be asking this many times on move out details, when they should have been provided well before now. No one is on the site any more so who should the items be turned in to?

This company took over my apartment complex and it has been downhill since. The amenities are not worth the price you pay, you are charged 18 dollars to take your own trash to the dumpster, the office never answers the phone, at renewal they will raise your prices over $100 with nothing new to offer. the gate is broken all of the time, the dog park hasn't been updated in years. They are in a lawsuit with other companies for teaming up to keep rent prices high. I'm not sure how they are "adding" value.
