- Best Brunch in Cypress, TX: 8 Weekend Spots Worth the Wait
In Cypress, you can order tiramisu pancakes at an Italian steakhouse, eggs Benedict on a pupusa at a Tex-Mex favorite, and a chicken-fried steak that arrives garnished with a waffle. Brunch out here isn't a copy of the inner-loop scene. It's a little bigger, a little more family-sized, and a lot easier to park for.
This is our shortlist for brunch in Cypress, built for two kinds of weekend: the one where you book a table and linger, and the one where you add your name to an online waitlist from the driveway and walk in when it's your turn.
How we define Cypress
Cypress is unincorporated, so there's no city limit to point to. We used the simplest test we could verify: every pick lists a Cypress, TX address in the 77429 or 77433 ZIP code on its own official website. That covers Towne Lake and the Boardwalk, Bridgeland, Fairfield and the US-290 corridor, and the older neighborhoods off Cypress Rosehill Road.
We left out places that use "Cypress" in their marketing but give a Houston address, such as spots along FM 1960 and Vintage Park. If you live on that side of Cy-Fair, our Houston brunch guide covers more ground.
The quick list
- For a dressed-up brunch with steak on the menu: Dario's Steakhouse & Seafood.
- For the dessert-for-breakfast crowd: Marvino's Italian Steakhouse, home of the tiramisu pancakes.
- For a Tex-Mex brunch with the whole family: Lupe Tortilla at Fairfield.
- For a Bloody Mary with your eggs: The Toasted Yolk Cafe.
- For a Benedict and a mimosa flight off Fry Road: Local Table at Lakeland Village Center.
- For brunch near the water at Towne Lake: The Union Kitchen or First Watch on the Boardwalk.
- For crêpes and frozen mimosas: Sweet Paris at Bridgeland.
- For the earliest start: The Toasted Yolk or First Watch, both typically open at 7 a.m.
How we chose
We looked for restaurants that treat brunch as a real meal: a dedicated brunch menu with set weekend hours, or breakfast served all morning, every day. Each pick had to show current hours and a Cypress address on its official website as of October 2026. We checked several well-known names and left them off when their sites showed no Cypress location or no brunch service.
About bottomless drinks: none of the restaurants below advertises bottomless mimosas on its official site. What you will find is mimosas and Bloody Marys at Dario's, frozen mimosas at Sweet Paris, and mimosa flights and a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar promoted by The Toasted Yolk, and an infused Bloody Mary and mimosa flights at Local Table. If a server offers you a refill deal, enjoy it, but don't plan your morning around one.
Brunch hours and menus change, so treat every time below as "typically" and check the restaurant's site before you go.
The 77429 side: Cypress Rosehill and east US-290
The 77429 side of Cypress is where the two most grown-up brunches on this list live. Both take reservations online, so you can book one this Sunday and save the other for next.
Dario's Steakhouse & Seafood
14315 Cypress Rosehill Rd · steak and seafood · brunch Saturday and Sunday · reservations online
Dario's is a family-run, fine-dining steakhouse that opens its kitchen to brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, typically from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu reads like a steakhouse that got up early: steak and eggs Benedict, a jumbo lump crab cake Benedict, a 6-ounce bacon-wrapped filet with eggs, and crab meat enchiladas topped with poached eggs and chipotle sauce.
What to order: the chicken-fried steak, which the menu says comes garnished with a waffle. Add a mimosa or a Bloody Mary, both on the brunch drinks list.
Why it's here: it's the Cypress brunch for anniversaries, graduations and parents who are visiting. Book through the reservation link on its site.
Marvino's Italian Steakhouse
24002 Northwest Fwy · Italian steakhouse · Sunday brunch · reservations online
Marvino's mixes house-made pasta with steakhouse cuts, and on Sundays it serves a brunch menu that leans fun. Look for bananas Foster French toast, a short rib eggs Benedict, huevos divorciados, and a chicken and waffle built on a cheese-and-potato waffle with piloncillo syrup.
What to order: the tiramisu pancakes. Yes, really. There's also a kids' brunch menu with scrambled eggs, pancakes and chicken tenders.
Why it's here: it's the only brunch on this list where tiramisu pancakes and a steakhouse cut share a menu. The restaurant typically opens at 11 a.m. on Sundays.
Towne Lake and the Boardwalk
The Boardwalk at Towne Lake is the closest thing Cypress has to a brunch district. Two of our picks sit along Barker Cypress Road here, so there's a backup if one has a long wait. Make a morning of it: our things to do in Cypress guide has the rest of the day covered.
The Union Kitchen (Towne Lake)
9955 Barker Cypress Rd, Suite 104 · American · brunch Friday to Sunday
The Union Kitchen has three locations, and the Towne Lake one serves brunch three days a week: typically Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. That Friday brunch is handy if you're working from home or have a day off.
What to order: brunch, plus a starter from the all-day menu. The kitchen calls its loaded dip "(t.h.e) hummus," and the menu explains that T.H.E stands for "This Has Everything."
Why it's here: it's a full-service brunch with a big menu, a kids' section and a Towne Lake address. The restaurant's site has a reservations page.
First Watch (Boardwalk)
9915 Barker Cypress Rd, Suite 170 · breakfast and brunch · open daily · outdoor patio
First Watch is a daytime-only chain, open 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every day, and this one sits right on the Boardwalk. The menu runs from classic plates to a seasonal list that changes through the year. Look for the Million Dollar Bacon on the sides list.
Insider tip: First Watch doesn't take traditional reservations. Use the "Get in Line" button on the location page to join the waitlist before you leave home. Both Cypress locations list an outdoor patio.
Why it's here: dependable, fast and early, with a patio at the Boardwalk.
Fry Road and Lakeland Village
Local Table (Cypress)
10535 Fry Rd, Suite 100 · made-from-scratch American · brunch Saturday and Sunday · outdoor patio
Local Table is a small Houston-area group with a location in Lakeland Village Center, and it runs brunch every Saturday and Sunday, typically from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The brunch menu leans hearty: a chicken and biscuit Benedict smothered in bourbon mushroom and sausage gravy, crab cake eggs Benedict, croissant French toast, migas and a "Recovery Burrito" topped with that same gravy.
What to order: the chicken and biscuit Benedict, plus the infused Bloody Mary or a mimosa flight, both promoted on its weekend brunch page.
Why it's here: it's the brunch for the north Fry Road side of Cypress, with a patio, a kids' menu and plenty of gluten-friendly and vegetarian options marked on the menu. Its site has a priority-seating link for busy mornings.
Bridgeland
Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café (Bridgeland)
20240 Summit Point Crossing, Suite 150 · French crêperie · open daily · private event room
Sweet Paris sits inside the Village Green at Bridgeland Central, and it's the prettiest room on this list, with chandeliers and an open kitchen where you can watch the crêpes being made. It's typically open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, so "brunch" can happen at 2 in the afternoon.
What to order: a sweet crêpe with Argentine dulce de leche, a savory crêpe to balance it out, and a frozen mimosa. Matcha lattes and over-the-top milkshakes cover the non-drinkers.
Why it's here: it's the best pick for a shower, a birthday or a friends' brunch. The Bridgeland location has a private event room you can reserve, and the café posts vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options plus a kids' menu. Parking in the Village Green is free.
Fairfield and the US-290 corridor
Three picks sit right on US-290 on the Fairfield side of Cypress, which makes them easy stops on a drive in or out of Houston.
Lupe Tortilla (Cypress / Fairfield)
28302 US-290 · Tex-Mex · brunch Saturday and Sunday · online waitlist
Lupe Tortilla is a Houston Tex-Mex institution, and its Fairfield location serves a dedicated brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays, typically from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The brunch menu includes egg tacos, chilaquiles, breakfast nachos, huevos rancheros and pancakes or waffles, a couple of them finished with Black Barrel tequila syrup.
What to order: one of the Benedicts. Lupe builds them on a pupusa instead of an English muffin, then tops them with chile-lime hollandaise. The barbacoa version is our pick.
Why it's here: it's the brunch that keeps everyone happy, from the kid who wants pancakes to the grandparent who wants enchiladas with a fried egg. Join the waitlist online before you go.
The Toasted Yolk Cafe
27008 Northwest Fwy, Suite 100 · breakfast and brunch · open daily · online waitlist
The Toasted Yolk is a scratch-kitchen brunch spot that's typically open every day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Its signature is the Arnold, which the menu calls its answer to eggs Benedict: poached eggs, Canadian bacon and hollandaise on a fresh-baked biscuit. The hashbrown casserole is a side that tends to become the main event.
What to order: an Arnold, a side of hashbrown casserole and a Bloody Mary. The chain promotes a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar and mimosa flights, and the Cypress page says its full bar pours both.
Why it's here: it's the best early-start brunch on the west side of Cypress. Join the online waitlist linked from its location page on weekend mornings.
First Watch (Fairfield Town Center)
28902 Hwy 290, Suite J10 · breakfast and brunch · open daily · outdoor patio
Cypress's second First Watch keeps the same 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. hours and the same "Get in Line" waitlist. Pick whichever is closer to home.
