Marine Mechanical Service

Everyone at BCM Marines Services was great and honest. I am so glad that I took my boat to them. The communication was clear and they were very patient to work with. The service quality was really good and very professional. The price is fair I think it is best in the area overall. I highly recommend this shop to any boat owner especially if you had an incident and involved with the insurance. That was my case. My boat sank had a really bad experience with another shop during my claim initially, I decidedly to transfer the boat to this shop in the middle of my claim process and they took a great care of me especially they didn’t allow the insurance field adjuster bullied me with my lack of boat knowledge and left no chance for them to deny my coverage. I would definitely use them for any service in the future because I totally trust them.

I recently purchased a 38’ Island Packet here in Kemah. I have had 3 bad experiences with 3 different repair shops basically I paid good money to all 3 and nothing was repaired. One repair was my windless clutch’s were frozen up. Another was supposedly air in my fuel system which Shaun quickly figured out not to be true, the fuel problem turned out to be a Bosch electronic fuel regulator. Now my engine is running flawlessly thanks to BCM. Ok the windless was never disassembled and repaired like I was told by another local repair shop I paid 600 $$ and was told it was repaired. Still having problems with the windless I asked Shaun to look at it. He disassembled it cleaned it and it is working flawlessly. I was lied to and nothing was repaired. These are big local boat repair facilities with unqualified incompetent staff and incompetent supervision. Shaun has fixed my heat pump, my Yanmar fuel injection system and fixed my Simpson windless. Shaun is the owner of BCM he’s hands on very smart and reliable. I never write reviews but I am hoping to help someone else in not getting taken advantage of like I have in the recent past. Do yourself a favor and call BCM if you want to save time, money and actually resolve the issue (s). Nothing is more frustrating than being 75 miles offshore and critical systems not working. I know who is going to service all systems on my boat moving forward. Attached photos off dirty windless I was told was cleaned and repaired, Do yourself a favor call BCM, you will be glad you did.

Awesome..... love the location. Great customer service and fast turn around for us and our yamaha waverruner. Knowledgeable and thorough for our 1st time visit. Will definitely keep BCM on short list for our marine service needs.

Had a trolling motor installed here very nice people to deal with! Impressed with the quality of work that was done here and it was for a good price. My boat was ready for pickup on the day I was told it would be. Will definitely be back!

Shaun and Michelle have taken the stress out of the not so fun part of boat ownership. Always quick to respond, reasonable rates and friendly to do business with. Highly recommend for all your boat repair needs
