Krystal used Radiesse in my chin to help with what she called “shadowing.” After the treatment, I wasn’t happy with the result and told her so. She then injected hyaluronidase and told me it would dissolve the Radiesse. I specifically asked her, “Are you sure Radiesse dissolves?” She reassured me that it did and even put her hand on my leg while telling me not to worry. I later found out that this isn’t true. Radiesse cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase the way regular filler can. A simple Google search will tell you that. I waited a month and a half before posting this review because I wanted to give everything time to settle and make sure I was seeing the final result. Now I’m stuck with a wider chin that I never wanted, and there is no way to reverse it. What upsets me the most is that I trusted the information I was given. As a nurse practitioner, she should have known the difference and been honest with me about what could and could not be dissolved. If I had known the truth from the beginning, I would have made a different decision. My disappointment isn’t just with the result—it’s with being given inaccurate information about the product and the options available to correct it.
