Washington Avenue runs west from downtown toward Memorial Park, with Rice Military filling the blocks between it and Buffalo Bayou. Expect townhomes, a long run of bars and restaurants, the Sawyer Yards arts campus, 1871-founded Glenwood Cemetery and the Beer Can House.
