Towneplace Suites Houston Nasa clear Lake

Rooms are really clean and housekeeping goes above and beyond. Free Breakfast is on point and properly prepared better than most Golden Corrals... keep up the good work. Front desk is all about you having a good enjoyable stay. First day here the pool was closed for cleaning the very next day the pool was CLEANED! Felt safe in this area and will be back for our next vacation!!

It used to be good. But now different staff every day not knowing any procedures. Breakfast some days open late. Pool area closed for a week with no opening date. With no pool area you cannot be outside and have to take car somewhere just to be outside. Rooms in wing opposite reception missing most kitchen utensils, floormats loosening, door difficult to close etc. Previous review a year ago was: Very good value for the price. Nice room, well equipped. Simple gym and pool. Simple breakfast. Perfect for me who is working here on a weekly basis.

Our stay was between July 21 thru 26. The location was perfect! We arrived late Saturday night, and it was frustrating, but the lady was very helpful! The issue was that the rooms we reserved the ACs were not working and maintenance won't be there til Monday. As well as the cleaning staff will be there on Monday. We were there til Wednesday and for those 3 days no one has cleaned our rooms. The pool was dirty, and it finally got semi cleaned on Wednesday. The elevator lights were flickering like crazy and the only time we had decent food was on Sunday. For being mariott, I honestly thought it would be better, but we did get compensation because of the room issues. So I greatly appreciate it! Made the stay nice but I think these items should be considered and provide more help to the staff.

I'm honestly shocked Marriott allows their name name on this facility. My room had an air conditioner that didn't fully function. When I brought it to the front desks attention they said they had no maintenance team for the holiday weekend, and could only offer me a few extra rewards points. My room was 81 degrees for my 3 day stay While I was in the lobby another guest was down there complaining on the same issue. My sink leaked around the faucet, and the shower knob was separating from the tub, it had clearly just been siliconed instead of installed correctly and the silicone failed. There was a bucket in the middle of the hallway to catch leaks from the ceiling, and the exit light for the floor was crooked and falling down. It's probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I have stayed in some pretty horrible hotels in my younger years.

Rooms were not well kept. I stayed 4 nights and not a single day anyone cleaned out rooms, and everyday had to go to main lobby to get new towels. We had to do it on our own. The bathroom smelled very moldy and disgusting. The simple coffee maker machine had a filter from a previous guest.. Moldy too… what was supposed to be a “moderate” hotel turned out to be a Motel-Like. Lights on elevators were not working. My husband complained the 1st day and was told to call customer service 1800… you know how that goes.. not using this place ever!! Very disappointed at Marriott’s!!
