This is an awesome hotel to stay at KD the night audit staff is amazing. He goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The morning front desk Melanie is super friendly making you feel welcomed. The beds are very comfortable with super clean rooms. The General Manager Vic is terrific. He is doing a fabulous job at keeping this hotel well managed. We stayed 3 nights and will definitely stay again.

First, the positives: This hotel is conveniently located for going to Johnson Space Center. There are several restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean. Tile floors in the bathroom and wood floors in the main room. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are too hard (so bring your own). Parking is right by your room, although it's $10 extra per night to have a first floor room. Otherwise, you walk up the stairs to the upstairs rooms. From the hotel, we drove 1 mile to Dr Ned and Fay Dudney Clear Creek Nature Center, where we took a peaceful evening stroll. It's hard to believe you're in the middle of a city there. Here's the negatives: 1) The hotel website promises a pool. There's no pool. It's been filled in with dirt. The office girl said to go use the pool at the hotel next door. I asked if that hotel allows that and she didn't know. 2) We paid for 3 people but the room had only 2 towels so we had to get another one delivered. They have little shampoo bottles but not conditioner. 3) There is breakfast near the lobby with hot coffee and powdered creamer. The breakfast is not fresh cooked, although there's a COVID-19 inspired "no touch" pancake machine with high fructose corn syrup to pour over your hot pancakes on a paper plate. Also preservative-laden, highly processed "food-like" substances like microwavable pigs in a blanket wrapped in individual plastic wrappers. Even the small yogurt packages had a long list of ingredients, including preservatives. 3) The website shows a warm, terracotta-colored building exterior with stucco arches in the style of Mexico with a flowering Pride of Barbados at the entrance. The building has since been repainted a sober grey (not very cheery) and the poor little plant at the entrance has seen better days. All in all, I would stay here again. It's affordable, seems safe, it's quiet, and it's clean.

We stayed at this property for one night and booked two rooms for four people. Upon arrival, we noticed that each room only had one towel, so we called the front desk to request additional towels. The towels were promptly provided, which we appreciated. At check-out, we were assured that our full deposit would be refunded. However, a week later, only half of the deposit was returned, and we were still charged $50. When we called to inquire, we were told that towels had been “stolen” from one of the rooms. This is both surprising and unfair, as we had specifically requested towels during our stay, and there was no issue noted at check-out. Additionally, we were never notified in advance about this charge—no email or phone call—making this situation even more frustrating. It would have been reasonable for staff to inspect the rooms upon check-out and communicate any issues immediately. We feel this charge is unjustified and request a review of the situation and a full refund of our deposit.

Decent stay for a reasonable pricing. Room service did take long time to attend. We had to ask for The toiletries and also the coffee machine was not working and things were not refilled the second day. Everything else was good and nothing to complain

This Super 8 is a great example of what we hope for in a budget Motel. Very good condition inside and out. It appears that the room has been recently renovated, or they have been able to maintain it at that kind of condition. It probably helps that this is a fairly small Motel in a good location. I would recommend this property to anybody that was visiting the area.
