This complex has been great. The staff is very responsive and tries to keep the standards up by being proactive. Just renewed with Lilly, who was great and help expedite paperwork as I work off hours. Having a gated parking subfloor is great as most complexes can't seem to keep gates operational. They property is elevated enough it's nice to not have to worry about flooding.

I am a resident of Aston Post Oak (erstwhile IMT Post Oak) since December 2022. All these years it has been an uneventful experience. What happened 2 days back has left me shocked. I returned from a business trip from Barcelona on 16th of May 2026 arriving at my apartment on the 3rd floor at around 10:30 PM from the airport. My apartment door was found broken, brutal force used to crack open the door. A burglary had been committed while I was away There was evidence of crime all over inside the apartment, a crime committed while I was away. I found the rooms in a mess and that a planned robbery had happened. The scene inside the apartment was disturbing all clothes on the floor, all valuables including expensive watches, jewelry missing, empty jewelry boxed and watch cases gone, my suits and jackets missing. My collection of branded watches all stolen. The suitcases had been force opened and clothes missing. It almost looked like a scene out of a movie. Further I discovered that the keys of both my cars are missing. I rushed to the garage to find that the Mercedes G wagon not in the garage seemingly also stolen. The other car was present however the door was open. Someone could drive out the G wagon effortlessly out of the apartment complex. I called 911, Two police officers visited the apartment later to check the incident. They had few questions including 1. What are the cameras available in the building and in the garage doors and they want to check the footage. Today I am told that the Cameras have been defective for over a month and that the management is looking into it. 2. The police asked If the neighbors heard anything since such a strong wooden door was broken open. They will be speaking to some residents in the apartments closer to mine. They also want to check with neighbors if they saw anything. My loss exceeds USD 200 thousand plus my car is gone. The police seemingly feel it could be a job of an insider since such access to the apartment and who would be knowing which car belongs to my apartment and that the keys will be inside the apartment. The thieves after cleaning up the apartment with the stuff went straight to the car and drove out; it seems to be a well-orchestrated plan with the knowledge of the insider. I am complete loss of words and have reported this to the police who is in the process of appointing a detective I was told today. This incident has been shared with the Management with who sympathize with me.

Love love love the leasing agents/staff that works at IMT post oak. Shout out to Carlos, Lilly, Keira, and Adriana. As well as the maintenance team for always handling my issues ASAP. Searching for an apartment is hard enough as it is, they help make the process 100x easier with their positive attitude and dedication to their current/future residents. IMT is a beautiful property. I love that there are extra safety measures, and that it always smells good, and it’s clean!!

John David the property manager is amazing on what he do. He is always making sure to help out in any way possible to make sure me and my family are well taken care off. Always greeting us with a huge smile. Him and his staff are always on point. Hand’s down the best property manager a community can ever have!

I normally don’t leave reviews, but at this point it’s necessary. Since the new management, Aston Post Oak, took over, my living experience has significantly declined. The new property manager, John David Vasquez, hasn’t taken the time to respond at all. I have been dealing with constant and ongoing noise disturbances from the tenant above me, including loud music late at night (well past midnight), vacuuming during quiet hours, moving furniture at all hours, and repeated stomping, jumping, running, and banging that carries directly into my unit. This is not an occasional issue—it is happening daily and at all hours, including early mornings (as early as 5:30 AM) and late nights. I have made multiple reports to the office and have gone in person several times trying to get assistance, but there has been little to no response or resolution. There is also no easily accessible way to contact security. I’ve had to walk around the complex searching for a security officer more than once. On one occasion, security confirmed the neighbor was using a speaker placed directly on the floor, which explains the intense vibrations and booming noise coming into my apartment. Even after intervention, the behavior continued. I have also involved non-emergency police due to the severity of the noise, and even then the tenant refused to answer the door. Despite all of this, the issue remains unresolved. I have documented evidence, including recordings and repeated complaints, yet nothing meaningful has been done to address the situation. Not being able to sleep or have peace in your own home is unacceptable. At this point, I cannot recommend living here under the current management. Update: This review is actually what finally got management to respond. I eventually received a call from the office, and the bottom line was essentially that I could either move out and pay the associated fees, or continue dealing with the situation because the tenant is apparently allowed to behave however she wants, as long as it is not loud music. I was finally given the “correct” phone number for security, so we’ll see whether it actually works moving forward. It is honestly insane that residents are paying luxury apartment prices — over $2,300 a month plus additional fees — yet there is little to no accountability when it comes to disruptive and inconsiderate neighbors. I have lived in this complex for the past 5 years, but this will absolutely be my last lease under this new management company. Needless to say, I do not recommend living here. Also, pay close attention to the reviews because many of them do not reflect the actual living experience here. As I am literally writing this update, the neighbor upstairs is once again dragging furniture and RUNNING around the apartment.
