Staybridge Suites Houston IAH Beltway 8

I want to give a thumb up to this hotel. I booked this hotel for our flight the next day, and my wife checked the reviews which made her worry a lot - for dirty rooms and especially for roaches. None of these were true. Rooms were super clean, corridors had a scent of cleaner. They newly painted the walls. I booked a 1BR suite and apprently this type of room were sold at the afternoon I arrived. The front desk staff looked at me, my wife, and 3 kids, asked me if I stayed for one day only. I said yes and he gave us the room key which surprised us when we opened the door. The font desk boy was so nice he gave us a huge 2 BR suite with 2 Queen size and 1 King size beds. Moreover, this hotel even has free laudry. Yes, free laundry, a laundry room with washers and dryers you do not need to prepare any coins or precharge a laundry card which you use only once. I cannot be satisfied anymore with this Staybridge Suites Houston IAH. The only thing I think it can improve is the key card was easily failed to work. We replaced a key card twice in a day. Overall it's a really good hotel for airport access and I highly recommend it.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The most concerning issue was the presence of roaches in the room, which was completely unacceptable and not something I expected from a hotel at this price point. I chose this property because I wanted to treat myself to a more comfortable stay, but in hindsight, I could have booked a less expensive hotel in the same area and had a better overall experience. The complimentary breakfast did not make up for the shortcomings, especially considering there are several dining options nearby. The room itself was underwhelming. The beds were smaller than expected relative to the size of the room, and the television was both small and awkwardly positioned. The pillows were excessively dense and soft, causing my head to sink in uncomfortably throughout the night. The bathroom was extremely cramped. There was very little space to move around, and the door handle was broken, appearing as though it had been damaged for some time without being repaired. Temperature control was another major issue. After checking in, I set the air conditioner to 69°F and left for approximately three hours. When I returned, the room was still around 75°F. Later, the unit overcompensated and made the room uncomfortably cold, forcing me to adjust the temperature again during the night. The breakfast selection was also disappointing. There was no traditional breakfast meat such as bacon or sausage. Instead, there were small pieces of ham or possibly Canadian bacon, along with a Mexican-style omelet, which may not appeal to all guests. Overall, the room quality, maintenance issues, comfort level, and cleanliness concerns did not justify the price paid. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

Rooms have full size fridge , 2 eye stove, microwave ,dishwasher, and dishes. TV was stuck with Spanish menu and remote wouldn't turn to English and house keeping was decent tho you could tell when someone else did the room. They have breakfast and mon thru weds they also have dinner.

Avoids this place at all costs!! I should have read the other reviews before making a booking. When we arrived here we were confronted with a outdated and worn out place which needs desperate renovation. But the worst thing where the cockroaches we discovered in our room within a few minutes after checking in. The staff offered us another room but we had no trust in that so we decided to leave and go to another place. Unfortunately the staff didn't want to refund us. Which they definitely should have considering all the cockroaches we found in our room.

This hotel is our second home away from home!!!! We love everything about it !! From the Manager Mr. Anthony , Mr. Mike, Ms. Anna , the front desk clerk I think Jason was on Friday evening was top tier… we love there customer service and the welcoming atmosphere that they provided !! We use the meeting room for our Dad retirement celebration and we were able to access the back patio as well … The breakfast was also a 10/10 … I love how the staff interacts with the customers … Making sure all is well … I tell you book this hotel 🏨 you will not regret it . Thanks again Mr. Anthony for a amazing experience you and your staff
