Motel 6 Pasadena Tx

My previous stays here have gone well, the rooms are adequate and competitively priced. I have been happy staying at this property since it has worked well for my needs. The main area for improvement is there are usually a few maintenance items needing attention. When I arrived, the shower curtain rod framing was already coming apart. The shower curtain itself held up during my stay, but it was clearly something needing attention. However, I recently experienced a terrible handling of a simple refund question. I checked out one day early and was told by the front desk I could get a refund for the unused night if I called the main Motel 6 number. The main number then said the same thing, as long as the property marked me checked out. After the front desk confirmed I was checked out, the main number reversed course and denied the refund listing the decision is up to the property. I wasted nearly 45 minutes dealing with conflicting answers from Motel 6 staff and customer service. This kind of runaround is unacceptable. Customers deserve a clear answer the first time, not multiple stories depending on who picks up the phone.

Cleaning crew stole my excersize bar. I asked maintenance to make sure my things were secure from the Cleaning crew at 9:00a.m. I told him I was going to be there at 12:00p.m. And I was there exactly at 12. They put everything in two bags. I notice a few things missing that I brushed off. Now I remember my excersize bar. Now I can't get this location on the phone. I booked my reservation online but he didn't use my the reservation for the booking but booked it into the actual computer. Room smells like mildew. No covers over the vents over the shower. Just a huge square hole. I called the Customer service review number they hung up on me. No complaint process and no help resolving anything. I'm not using the app anymore. The only reason why book at motel 6 is because of the app. But I'm done.

I have no choice but to give only four stars because I have just a few things that could be addressed and first of is the roaches. Omg. And the security would fix the trash that comes in and out of this place at night especially. Hire one security guard and fix the keypads. Everything else was good for the price. Now to some other people’s reviews. Someone said breakfast would be nice. lol hahaha. For the price and you are asking for breakfast. Now I have to stand up for the 6 motel. There is ESA motel offers breakfast. But not for the pice that you pay here. Ever heard you get what you paid for? Also whoever complained about the bbq joint closing at 6 on Sundays must be from a long time ago because they are closed on weekends and Monday through Friday they close at 3. That’s right I said 3. This bbq joint is for the local workers mainly. There you have it. Stop renting to … ahhhh never mind.

It is a well light area. Parking is very accessible. The rooms are big . Water temp is great. Just the small roaches on the table tops and on the bed this time was disgusting.

Booked a king, non-smoking room but was given a double without being informed. First room (241): door did not latch properly and the bathroom was not clean. I requested a different room and was moved to room 128. Within minutes of entering, I saw multiple roaches, including one on the desk chair near my belongings. I did not unpack, returned the key, and left immediately to book another hotel. I did not stay overnight and was unable to use the room I paid for. When I contacted the property afterward, I was offered 15% off a future stay instead of a refund.
