Very convenient near NRG stadium, MD Anderson, and Rice University! It looks like a pretty standard mid tier holiday Inn on the outside, but the inside is fantastic. The rooms appear to be modernized. The rooms appear to be clean and the linen is fresh. The pool looks fantastic and well maintained, there is a lot of parking. You literally walk out the back door across the parking lot to get to NRG stadium. The staff is fantastic. The breakfast buffet is small but moderately priced ($17.95). There is a little “office” area if you need to look something up or print something off. It has a self serve market on the first floor.

I highly recommend this hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We chose it because of its proximity to NRG Stadium, as my daughter and I were attending the Animeverse Festival in February, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel has a gated entrance that leads directly into NRG Stadium, which made getting to and from the event incredibly easy and stress‑free. Our room was very clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed that made it easy to relax after long days. I especially appreciated the bathroom layout, with the shower/bath and toilet separate from the vanity area. The room also included a microwave and coffee machine, which added to the overall convenience. We had a minor issue with the air conditioning during our stay, but Tony from maintenance resolved it immediately—fantastic service. Breakfast each morning was lovely, with a great selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, and hot options. We also chose to have dinner at the hotel on several nights and the food was delicious, the dining area spacious, and the staff consistently helpful and welcoming. The foyer has plenty of vending machines offering drinks, snacks, and even salads, which was very convenient. There’s also a Metro tram stop right at NRG Stadium that takes you into the city for only $3. Directly across the road from the hotel is a Ross clothing store and a Fiesta supermarket, making shopping and supplies easy to access. The standout highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. Cassandra, John, Tony, and Pauline truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. John kindly helped us with directions into the city and even printed them out for us, while Cassandra offered great shopping suggestions. Each morning, we were greeted in the lobby by John, Cassandra, or Tony—all with friendly smiles that made a big difference. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This hotel was not the best. Looked nothing like the online pics. I chose this hotel due to the location being right behind NRG and we were in town for a basketball tournament. I pulled up and it looked abandoned. The lobby area is clean and vibrant. The hallways smelled like mildew. The hotel is just so old and outdated. The rooms were clean. The encounter I had with the front desk was not friendly either. Outside pool area was gross. I wouldn’t stay again.

I think i am most disappointed that you do not have a better rate for the md anderson cancer patients or offers them 2 beds for the rate you quoted them. Travelling with my parent for my mother's cancer surgery and she called to get a better rate and it was barely any kind of discount. Cool you offer a shuttle but its money that makes a difference in affording to come for treatments and surgeries. Also how disappointing to have the pool down right at the beginning of summer...

We are staying here 4 nights at over $450 a night while my daughter shows her livestock. One thing we were looking forward to was the amenities to relax after long days at the barn. For that much a night (up charged due to the rodeo) the pool should at least be working, but it is not. There was no notification given. The toilets do not flush well and there is a smell. Responding back... The front desk said the pool was closed the first day (Tuesday) due to a broken pump. Not due to periods of inclement weather as the response stated. The rain did not arrive until Wednesday at around 1:30pm and was over by 3:30pm. As of Friday at 5pm there has been no more rain since Tuesday... but the grass sticking up in the concrete cracks in the pool area has now been cut, the furniture set out, the leaves in the pool cleaned, but it is still closed according to the front desk. Dropped a star due to the lie given in the response... ps the toilet issue is discussed frequently in the reviews here. It's common knowledge and not fixed.
