We stayed one night at the Extended Stay America in Westchase, Richmond, and overall it served our needs well. The property and our room were clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked us in, was genuinely nice and friendly — she made us feel welcome right away. The only issues we had were that the TV had no sound at all, and the toilet clogged very easily (it would flush slowly and not always clear properly). The rate also felt a little high for what we got, though that may just be seasonal pricing since it’s summer. Would recommend for a short stay if you’re looking for a clean, convenient extended-stay option.

The staff was alright but the lady thats supposed to be the manager is a Horrible person let alone a staff manager. She treated me as if I were staying here for free or on her dime and never able to accommodate anyone. This hotel needs a complete new set of staff and maybe to even have the health department contacted about their lack of cleanliness.

Worst experience that you ever want to have. To everyone never ever book from them. Its was 2am 4/5/2026 I arrived at the hotel after long drive from Chicago, IL to Houston, TX and front desk guy didn’t even open the door, some guest opened it for me. Once I asked the front desk why he was ignoring me, he said “After 12am all reservations cancelled and I didn’t get notified by them nor by Booking.com Once I tried to contact Booking.com there was no live agent, robot offered no option to speak the agent, and front desk guy acted like kid🤦🏽‍♂️ When I started filming him, he hide behind the wall and kept playing his video-game on his phone. Now 4/10/2026 Im still cant get my money back from them neither Booking.com is not helping. I’ll go contact my Credit card company and simply dispute the charges. Fortunately another Hotel was available around that area, Fairfield by Marriott. They save the day✅

First Love

This young man made our stay go from decent to awful in a matter of 10 mins. He should be fired because he is impolite, and has no customer service skills and will run away any guests because he doesn’t respect his customers time. First, my family is staying here through the support of the American Cancer Society while my mother is receiving treatment at MDA here in Houston. Our initial experience here was better than we expected until we met him yesterday. My first experience was when i was trying to enter the lobby from the parking lot. It was early in the evening while the sun was still out and guests were still freely moving in and out. I had a key but bc we rechecked in it was needing to be reset to use. I tapped on the glass, caught his attention and asked if he would let me in. My intention was to get the key reset before getting my family out of the car. He refused to let me in saying use your key. I kept telling him it didn’t work. It was for the prior reservation. He made me stand there no less than 2 mins. Going back and forth. What if i was trying to book? Mind you he has a toddler behind the desk with him, swinging on the chair. Bad business. At the time I only had one key on me and said i would bring him the other key and he said he could only do one key because i didn’t bring them at the same time. A total inconvenience. I just took my key and went on my way. Now fast forward to today. Towel laundry ends at 2pm. I brought towels down to Stephanie before 2 pm to be laundered. We left and came back a few hours later, as a matter of fact i met her in the parking lot before entering the lobby. I stopped at the front desk to retrieve our towels and he said they weren’t ready. I asked what time they’d be ready and he very rudely suggested that he just got in and doesn’t know anything. I calmly said i would be back in a few hours. At around 7 pm i went down with my own laundry to wash in the laundry room. I stopped at the desk. No towels. I went into the laundry room and separated my clothes and loaded the machines. I decided i would just ask for our towels and wash them myself. He had one guest. He knew i wanted my towels he asked if i would wait until he finished with the guest. I stepped aside and waited. When he finally acknowledged me i asked for my towels to wash myself. He said he couldn't give me dirty towels. I mentioned our towels had our room number. I asked if he could hurry because we started our machine and that’s when he accused me of being rude. Because i ask that you swiftly get the towels before our time ran out? Then he began calling Stephanie asking where our towels were. She instructed him whatever and he came out with two dry towels two hand towels and one wash cloth. I said its three of us and we all needed a wash cloth. He refused us two more towels. Very adamantly! He swears thats what Stephanie told him to do. Now my family is upset. She ( my family) asks him what if someone did his family that way. He didn’t care. I asked him to call Stephanie back, he refused and laughed in our faces. He tells us we have to wait until she returns as if we know their schedules. Even after telling him we have an early morning and we wanted fresh towels. He continued to refuse ua while laughing! DEPLORABLE AND DISGUSTING! So now i am taking his pictures and recording who he is. He pulls his phone out and records me. So now i am taking this to my 214,000 followers who have been watching our journey thus far because they deserve to know how we’re being treated at this facility. And there’s no one to physically report this to. I would hate for anyone especially our fellow cancer patients to have to deal with a jerk like that. The general manager is Nick Patel but there’s no way to reach him and no supervisor on duty. This report will be forwarded to the BBB and whatever other departments we find necessary as well as all my social platforms! Yall be careful!

I wouldn’t recommend this place if your looking for a room with good conditions when I arrived there were beds in the hallway outside of rooms, the room In the picture did not look like the room I received, kids playing in the hallway loudly late at night, and the room just looked very old there were socks tha did not belong to me under the couch stains on the floor. The only good thing I have to say about my experience is the customer service everything else was horrible
