Do not stay at this hotel. I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel ever at this location. First thing you will notice is this hotel is located next door to low income housing, and some pretty rough looking people are always walking through the parking lot. Some would stare me down making me feel uncomfortable. When you walk into the hotel to check in, you will smell a horrible musky smell and that there is no air conditioning in the lobby. This place looks nothing like the pictures. The pictures are very deceiving. The front desk staff were rude as well. The pool was closed and they were not serving breakfast. While walking to my room I was hit with a strong aroma of weed in the bottom floor hallway. I brought this to the staff attention. The did not care. I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at this location. Room number 1 had black and yellow stains on the sheets, not to mention hair. Room 2 smelled very strongly of mold. I requested another room and they gave it to me. Room 3 had trash in the corners, stained sheets, and roaches and other bugs. At this point I was extremely upset and grossed out. I asked to speak with a manger and I was told I couldn’t speak with her. I’ve never not been able to speak with a manager at a hotel before. So I decided to check out and find a safer and cleaner place. They would not give me a refund. So I counted my losses and checked out anyway. Then they would not give me a receipt or any verification that I checked out. So no refund, no manager, and now no receipt. I had enough and left and found something else. Thankfully I booked through a third party and they were able to get my refund. It was truly a nightmare. RUN from this place.

This hotel (Houston Willowbrook location) was beyond disappointing. I checked in and literally checked out less than an hour later, and I was charged for two days. The original room, smelled mildewy and had standing water in the bathroom floor. The clerk, offered me another room and we checked four rooms before I chose the one in the best condition and that toilet overflowed. I checked out and found another hotel. One room had no air, another had no working toilet, they all smelled mildewy. I want a refund. If they put as much effort into the repair and upkeep of the rooms like they did in the lobby, the hotel could actually be very nice. I reached out to the corporate office and was advised that the management staff would reach out. It will be one month this week, and I'm still waiting for that contact. This whole experience has been such a disappointment... This is the very reason that I don't like to patronize franchise hotels.

The shower was amazing, very clean hotel room, organized and the bed is very very comfortable. But I did get an encounter with a not so friendly front desk associate. They were very rude when I tried to get my money back that the vending machine took, it was $5. I was not worried much about the money but I just wish the front person could’ve been more nice or helpful. Overall, the stay was alright. Won’t be coming back there simply because of the staff though.

Nasty terrible stinky room! No wifi capabilities as it doesn't reach up to the 3rd floor, TV doesn't work- so you sit in the room and do nothing! I had kids and I had to work-this was so inconvenient. The front desk stated there's nothing they can do. Like my complaint did not matter. I walked in yesterday there was a door with a bright pink sign that said cops have been called do not come back etc. My kids saw it and started freaking out! The hotel site states they have breakfast now-nothing. When we checked in the front desk lady said I can't guarantee you a room since you booked from a 3rd party site yet magically 2 rooms became available. Then they said the same thing to the next few guests. What a bunch of scam artist. Bathtub and walls were disgusting, stains on headboard, sticky furniture. Please avoid this trashy place.

No reception service. After waiting about 10 minutes at the front desk. The person at the desk finally helped us. He was talking to another coworker about getting drunk that night. They did not have papers for receipts which I asked for. They did not have enough room keys for 5 guests ( had three rooms booked) The rooms had two hand towels which both had stains on them. Seemed like makeup and some dirt mix. When I called the front desk for a full size towel they said that the towels were getting cleaned and will be ready in about an hour. (This is at 9 pm at night) There was no iron or iron board. The room had some patches on the walls that were peeling off. Seemed like a halfway house. The receptionists were more concerned about getting drunk when I was checking in rather than actually checking me in. When I was checking out, there was no one at the front desk. I had to wait again for about 15 minutes and finally the cleaning lady came to help. Unfortunately she could not do much as she said the system was down and not working.there was also a significant language barrier. I could not understand her but she used google translate to get the point across. She was about the only person who actually seemed to care about me.. The entire building seemed to be maintained by kids who just wanted to not work and get paid. The business owner needs to really see what's going on in their business otherwise there might not be a business to maintain.
