First of all since being here in June the place has had a huge turnaround for the better. Before it was more a free for all, drug dealers in plain sight, kids running everywhere, fighting, loudness in general after hours, etc. You do have to look at this as a business and yes it may be strict, but without rules in place it would be back to square one. The building is older and things are still needed but its a slow progress to better than before. Since coming here in June I do see a turnaround in the cleaning and overall upkeep of property. Prior everything seemed dirty with watching people just throw trash out there car window without any consideration for example. The choaticness has calmed down significantly since, managment is doing the best they can. They will work with you as long as its reasonable and your not being combative or impolite, again you have to understand this is a business not an apartment complex so some things may seem stricter etc. However rules have to be in place in order for things to be stable, above all else I wanna thank God for getting us here and answering the prayer for change. God answered quickly within the few months, its alot better than we're we were last year. With that being said, thank you to both managment/team for keeping this place as running smooth as possible. They all have been helpful and understanding with everything. Just know they all do as much as they can do as human beings to run a hotel smoothly, not everything will be perfect of course but changes are better than none.

This was the first hotel I’ve encountered where there was no overnight staff on-site, which was surprising. The lobby area is also very minimal checking in felt more like approaching a concession stand than a hotel front desk. During my visit, I found the general manager, Bridget, to be quite loud and unprofessional in her interactions. It was noticeable that the staff seemed uncomfortable around her. I even overheard an employee mention that Bridget had been “picking on” guests and removing people who were trying to extend their stay, which was concerning. Overall, the property felt run-down, and it appeared that some employees were living in the hotel. Because of these issues, I ultimately decided not to stay.

So I had posted an earlier review that was pretty negative and so I want to post this review and say that after going to the manager and having a more heartfelt one-on-one talk with her and seeing some of the issues that she's dealing with.... I can understand some of her negativity. I know she's only been on this property a couple of months and I can see she is trying to make some improvements. A lot of my issues were furniture related... And after speaking with her I found out that a lot of these issues are out of her control.... She explained to me that these items have been on backorder for some time.... But again.. the key is communication! Just let the tenants know what's going on when the issues cannot be taken care of in a timely manner. And also remember you're in customer service! And you're running a business so you have to be professional! Even when you don't want to! I know this because I'm in customer service too! So now upper management needs to step up!

I give this hotel a five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫. Bridget and her staff are so wonderful and helpful. She has her staff on top of everything here. Mrs. Bridget had so many people trying to book with her and trust me when I say she was getting them in and out and was multi tasking with everything coming her way. I give her big props. Ms. Alyssa was a very big help when i came here for the first time. She was very welcoming and nice and sweet making sure we had everything we needed for our stay thank you Mrs. Bridget and Ms. Alyssa and your wonderful team here at WoodSpring suites.

Personally dealing with Bridget has been a god sent very humble empathetic and personable not robotic all at the same time while being professional. My family and I are in a transition with our living arrangements and it's been a breathe of fresh air to deal with someone who is down to earth and again PROFESSIONAL but the kindest friendliest most humble experience with another human being I've had in a long time. Also watching her deal with other residents non judgmental but still sticking to policy and agreeing to rules with out being demeaning whether white black. Usually in places like extended stays u have racism and very rude authoritative personalities . With what I'm going through right now she is making this process of not having my own place easier to get through I would recommend anyone here if they are experiencing hard times. My husband and I are grateful for her kindness he drives trucks so I'm here with my 3 small daughters under 3 and I feel safe the property is clean and the customer service from other employees are amazing and shows that she is instilling the same behaviors in them with how they treat people. To someone who has everything a car and a home something like a hotel stay doesn't seem like anything impactful but it does matter how a person is treated when they are in a different or low part in life. God blessed you for how you genuinely treat people. Thank you so much.
