Super clean! I honestly think this is the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at. The room was very nice and the bed was comfy. It’s also located next to really good bbq. Also, the breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend.

My husband and I drove from Dallas to Houston to celebrate our cousin’s 50th birthday and stayed at this Hyatt. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of the service we’ve come to expect as loyal Hyatt guests and Globalist members. We arrived around 12:30 p.m. and were met at the front desk by Debbie, who barely greeted us. When we asked about early check-in (a Globalist benefit), she said she didn’t know anything about Globalist status and claimed the hotel was sold out. Looking at the nearly empty parking lot of a six-story property, this explanation didn’t seem accurate. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and made it clear we would have to return at 2 p.m. The situation didn’t sit right, so I called the Globalist customer service line. After providing details, they confirmed the hotel was not sold out and connected with the property directly. Thankfully, Vicky from Hyatt customer service was professional, knowledgeable, and quickly resolved the issue. We were able to check in at 1 p.m.—proving that rooms were indeed available. We love Hyatt and continue to stay with the brand frequently, but the level of customer service and professionalism at this location was the worst we’ve experienced. If I could give this property zero stars, I would—but since that isn’t an option, it gets one. I truly hope management addresses this so future guests don’t have the same experience.

Good afternoon, I am writing to document my recent experience at the Hyatt Hotel located at 19813 Northwest Freeway in Houston. On November 27, 2025, I checked into my room and was immediately informed that several hotel patrons had experienced break-ins to their vehicles. Given this information, I left the hotel for a few hours and ultimately decided not to remain on the property. I did not stay, sleep, or occupy the room for more than five to ten minutes, nor did I use any amenities. When I checked out that same day, I was advised that my deposit would be refunded. I allowed the standard three business days to pass; however, no refund was issued. It has now been nearly seven days, and I have not received the return of my deposit or the amount paid for the room, despite the fact that I did not stay. I am requesting clarification and the prompt return of the funds owed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. V/r William Legette

Convenient location, but in disrepair. Lots of outlets and lights that don’t work at all or flicker in the rooms and The Wi-Fi has only worked a couple of days of the five I’ve been here, which is inconvenient since I’m here to work. But the worst thing is the walls are so thin I can hear people talking in the next room. I literally moved rooms because this guy was yelling into his phone until after midnight for three nights straight and my new night in my new room there’s a new guy at 9 PM blabbing away on his phone and I can hear every single word of his conversation. I know it’s not the hotel‘s fault that people are on the phone in the middle of the night. However, the fact I can hear every word they say from my room in my bed and I can’t sleep because of it is unacceptable. Even turning on white noise and using earplugs, I could still hear them. I will say the staff is very nice and accommodating so please don’t blame them. But I’ve been to a ton of Hyatt Places as a globalist and I’ve never experienced one with this level of paper walls. There’s also no bar in the lobby like most locations.

Please take the time to read ALL reviews to see that this is a common practice for this location and definitely should not be branded by Hyatt. Terrible experience — denied check-in for a prepaid room through a third party and had the police called on us. My husband and I drove over six hours from Bonham, TX, after helping a grieving family friend move. We booked and paid for a room through Super.com for that night, but when we arrived around 3:30 AM, the front desk clerk, Christian, refused to let us check in. He told us we’d have to pay for another night even though our reservation clearly covered the night we arrived. So he told my husband to go back to the sight and book the room for another night then we could get the room. Didn’t make any sense considering we paid for the night we needed already. So we did. My husband went back in only for Christian (who was rude as hell) to tell him that we now had to pay the hotel another $100 in fees!!! I obviously we were upset and a little distraught because we didn’t have any more money. We went back outside and tried to figure things out from our car, but within minutes, Christian called the police on us for being upset about losing over $200 for a room we never got to use. We were exhausted, broke, and stranded six hours from home. The officers themselves advised us to contact management in the morning because the situation was wrong. I’ve stayed at many Hyatt locations and have never experienced such disrespect or lack of compassion. I hope Hyatt takes this seriously and retrains their staff. Avoid this location until management addresses the behavior of employees like Christian.
