Definitely worth paying a extra 125 to stay at another hotel. This place looks like it just got bare minimum renovations. I usually wake up around 3 for work and went downstairs to purchase bottled water, but after seeing 7 dollars for a small smart water I went down the road to a gas station to get a large one and Gatorade for under 8 bucks. Also the mini fridge in my room doesn't work, but the lobby looks nice.

This place definitely needs renovation but the location just down the road from IAH - Bush Houston Airport is very convenient for flights. I ate at the restaurant and though I find their menu quite limited, the food was edible. The common areas were nice and my room was clean, I think, but everything was in such need of renovation that it just is hard to express. Once 10:00 pm arrived I heard no airplanes so noise wasn’t an issue. The bed was comfortable and maintenance came to my room expediently when I was concerned about my a/c. Maintenance fixed my a/c and all was good. I might stay here again but I hope Hilton puts some effort and money into renovations.

Just lost a customer because the bus driver refused to let me on the bus. My flight was cancelled and needed a room for the night. He said I needed a reservation then said the hotel is sold out for the night of of 2/10 after even handing over my phone showing him that there’s available rooms to book for the night. Then still refusing to let me on the bus. I was going to book at the hotel for the cheapest prices available but no worries. I will be enjoying my stay at the royal sonesta. I will be sure to avoid hilton properties in the future.

Terrible stay. There is no free breakfast, which is unacceptable for a Hilton, and the room stays hot no matter what temperature you set. The thermostat is basically useless because it’s controlled by an energy-saving system that won’t let the AC stay on long enough to actually cool the room. On top of that, the constant planes flying overhead make it sound like a jet engine all night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you can sleep through nonstop airplane noise and don’t mind being uncomfortable the entire night.

I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at the Hilton Inn in Houston, Texas, beginning on December 18, 2025. This stay was booked in advance and prepaid on December 9, 2025, yet upon arrival I was incorrectly charged again for the room. This issue alone caused unnecessary stress at check-in and required time to address. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of an extremely negative experience. Throughout our stay, my partner was repeatedly questioned and monitored by staff whenever he stepped outside to smoke in the designated smoking area. He was consistently asked what room he was staying in, approached multiple times, and made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. When he attempted to address this at the front desk, staff members were rude and dismissive, continuing to question him rather than offering assistance or clarification. On more than one occasion, staff followed him outside under the appearance of being occupied while clearly watching him. We were also denied access to the pool, being told it was under maintenance, which was never communicated prior to or during booking. Additionally, more than $300 was charged to my card for an alleged smoking violation. This accusation is false. We only smoked in designated areas, and at no point during our stay were we notified of any complaints or concerns from staff or housekeeping. If such complaints truly existed, it is unacceptable that we were never informed or given the opportunity to address them. To make matters worse, while we were simply sitting outside in the lounge area, the police were called on us without explanation. This was humiliating and completely unwarranted. This trip was meant to celebrate my birthday, and instead it was entirely ruined by the treatment we received. I am 34 years old and have been staying in hotels since I was 18, and I have never experienced such hostility, poor service, and lack of professionalism. The way we were treated was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. As a result of this experience, I do not feel comfortable staying at any Hilton property in the future unless this matter is properly addressed. I will also be contacting Hilton corporate to ensure this situation is reviewed thoroughly. I expect a prompt response regarding the duplicate charge, the improper smoking fee, and an explanation for the treatment we received during our stay.
