The elevator here is extremely slow… like painfully slow. The room itself was decent, nothing fancy, just okay. The TV worked when it felt like it. Then eventually the elevator completely broke. I let Ronaldo from maintenance know, and he basically said “okay” and that it might get fixed today… or maybe tomorrow. At that point I told him that really wasn’t right because our room TVs weren’t working and now the elevator was down too. His coworker, the one in the polka dot blouse and blue jacket (Kadian), decided to chime in and said I could just check out then. Girl, bye. Since the elevator was out, we had to walk up five flights of stairs. Ronaldo later came to try and fix the TV but wasn’t able to. I asked him for his coworker’s name because I didn’t know it at the time, and he said he didn’t know any of his coworkers’ names… which is wild considering you work there. Later I found out she was the manager, horrible leadership. He said the TV itself worked but the service provider wasn’t working, which is why we couldn’t watch anything. So apparently it was DirectTVs problem, not there’s. On top of that, the revolving door at the front entrance didn’t work, and the regular front door was basically coming off the hinges (photo attached), so everyone had to use the side door. I had two rooms booked and could only get a late checkout for one of them, which was until 12:30. Overall it was just a lot of little mishaps the whole stay. I came for the rodeo and got a pretty good deal, but like they say, you get what you pay for. I probably should’ve spent a little more because this place just wasn’t it. The only real positives were the breakfast and the young lady who worked the night shift. She was the only one who actually had good customer service.

It is an older hotel and definitely needs to be updated and remodeled The hotel was clean but with this hotel being listed as accommodating to local medical facilities it should have a higher level of cleanliness Excpecially since a large majority of people staying are immunocompromised. For example the carpet is old and stained an definitely needs to be replaced. Paint is pealing in the shower ceilings The staff are great and very accommodating The breakfast was very good and fresh.

Hallways and rooms smell musty. In the room, the ceiling appears to be textured-concrete. That's not something I want to see. I feel like I'm in a parking garage or an institution. By reading other reviews they've had issues with vehicles inside the "locked" gates (which you pay extra for) getting broken into. Don't keep valuables in your vehicle just in case. While the room is clean, amenities are lacking. Mattress is decent. TV is old and not smart. Bathroom was probably remodeled and looks okay. Desk in the room is nice. Did not visit gym or pool area. Staff are nice and attentive. Breakfast was good and had a good bit of options. I hear the shuttle service is convenient, but won't be taking advantage. While this is not trying to advertise as a luxury hotel, it's not trying to overachieve as a low-end option either. In the end, not a good value for the money.

This hotel is located super close to MD Anderson medical complex. They treat us amazing at this hotel! They have a shuttle with Chris and Brenda who are always driving from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. they are tireless and dedicated! We love them! This hotel has made us feel so special at a time when we needed help the most. The parking is gated and very safe. Also directly next door to the luby's cafeteria which also is excellent and so fast! Close to lots of other restaurants Target etc. The rooms are neat and clean with a mini fridge and a microwave. Great pool when it is in season.

The room was okay. Musty smelling and just okay. Check in was okay. No one super helpful. Breakfast was there, but limited. Nothing that stands out. The most frustrating thing was the parking. The room key opened the gate to go park. I tried for 5 minutes and the key didn't work. There were 2 cars behind me. So, I attempted to move out of the way and let them try. The 2nd car couldn't get the gate to open with their key either. The 3rd car after several attempts finally got the gate to move. It was a very frustrating situation after a long drive and you just want to go lay down. Super frustrating. Would not recommend unless you are in a pinch and would not stay again.
