This hotel was am excellent respite after a tumultuous few days. Everything was great. Every staff member was helpful and a delight. A gentleman named Moises (Moses) was the star though. He was in maintenance and was so helpful with a problem setting up our Roku in the room. The dining area is always clean and food selection pretty good and fresh. The staff was kind, welcoming and do a great job connecting. Would stay again and again.

We were driving across the state to stay at this hotel when they called to tell us that they didn’t have a room available for us. We made the reservation well in advance and were very frustrated! After a couple of minutes, the general manager was able to find a room for us… and we had no clue how a room magically appeared until we got to our room. Some of the new renovations were unfinished. And most notably, the door to the bedroom in our suite did not close. We tried messaging through the app and in text with no response. Overall very frustrated with how we were treated even before arriving. I thought we were getting a great deal at a nicely renovated hotel, but it was a disappointment.

2/5 Stars: Good Location, But Major Issues Made for a Frustrating Stay We wanted to like this hotel. The location near Johnson Space Center is excellent, with tons of restaurants, shopping, and easy access to downtown Houston. But several ongoing issues made it hard to enjoy. The biggest problem was construction. From the moment we checked in, there was loud, disruptive noise directly above our 2nd floor room. We requested a move but were told nothing was available that night. It continued the next day, sounding like a jackhammer overhead, before we were finally moved to the 4th floor. The new shower was nice but wouldn't fully turn off. Housekeeping fell short too. No extra toilet tissue, scarce towels that had to be tracked down daily, no ice bucket, and a pullout sofa barely larger than a twin. The pool was open but heavily shaded by the hotel, leaving it freezing cold with virtually no afternoon sun. It was also very small. The complimentary breakfast was well-stocked and tasty. The hotel is dog-friendly with great walking areas nearby. And the free cookies at the front desk were a big hit with my kids. With better communication around construction and attention to basic room stocking, this could be a solid option. As it stands, the stay was more stressful than relaxing.

As of February 2026 they were remodeling and the noise is disturbing if you need to have a call/meeting in your room. I was on the 3rd floor and it needs remodeling! And they were remodeling the 4th floor. 5th floor was done and seemed nice. The breakfast was fine and they prepared some fresh fruit. Gym is small but clean and well equipped. However glass door to the gym looks into the breakfast area if you shy don't go during breakfast time. Pool and hot tub looked nice but didn't try them. All the people working there were very nice.

My family of five booked a suite for the weekend. We arrived at the hotel around 10:30 PM and were informed by a very kind and apologetic front desk employee that our room had a water leak and we had been rebooked in a standard King room. With three kids, this was not ideal, but it was late and we were tired from traveling so we accepted the change. Things happen, I understand. The following day, we left bright and early for the space center. We left the “Do Not Disturb” placard on the door. We returned around 3 PM, and the placard was no longer on our door. Instead, it was placed INSIDE the room on the bathroom counter. The nightstands had also been pulled away from the walls. I went down to the front desk and inquired why someone had been in our room, and the employee there told me that there had once again been a leak in our room. I asked if it was common practice to enter an occupied room without notifying the occupant, and she let me know that “whoever checked you in” didn’t update my phone number in the system. I received an automated receipt by text to my phone from the hotel at 1 pm that same day, so clearly this was not true. This employee then informed me that we would be downgrading rooms once again, this time to a double bed room. I let her know that I was not happy with this solution, and there was conveniently a King suite available at that point, which I received room keys for immediately. At no point was I offered a refund for the difference in room rate or any type of amenities or even an apology for the inconvenience. I understand things happen, but it was a very frustrating experience overall. Other things to know: the hotel is under construction/renovation (hence the leaks) and is quite noisy during the day. There is also no business center, despite the signs. Otherwise, conveniently located for a space center visit, cute pool, solid continental breakfast.
