⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing stay at the Wyndham Garden in Katy, Texas! From the moment I walked in, the fresh, beautiful scent throughout the hotel made a great first impression. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable—the bedding was especially cozy. The amenities were excellent, with a relaxing pool and hot tub that made my stay even better. The breakfast selection was also very good and a great way to start the day. A special thanks to Amira, the general manager—she was absolutely fantastic! Her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for guests truly stood out. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I definitely recommend staying at this Wyndham Garden and will absolutely be back again!

Loved this stay! Disappointing that the pool and hot tub were supposedly being "serviced" (they looked fully functional). Overall, large rooms, clean, comfortable, smelled like a musty room (like it needed to air out the moisture), friendly/helpful staff, excellent breakfast options, and would recommend.

I booked a room in November 2025. When I arrived, the room was 80 degrees. The ac was on, but not blowing cold/cool air. I asked the front desk if they could send up maintenance to fix it. They decided to move my room instead. This happened 2 more times with 3 rooms total where the rooms were hot & the acs were blowing hot air on the cold setting. I asked if I could just get a full refund & leave. The front desk staff (very nice man) said they could do it the next day because their manager was not there. I said no problem. A week goes by & nothing happens. I call & ask for help on the situation. They only refund me $30 for a room I never even stayed in (full price was ~$100). I called corporate & asked for their help, as well (2-3 times). I've sent emails, pictures, & explained the situation several times. It seems as though Wyndham doesn't want to help with the situation.

The only thing truly worthy of recognition at this hotel is the work of the housekeeping and maintenance staff, who keep the facilities clean despite the extreme heat in the hallways and rooms. This one star is exclusively for them; otherwise, the rating would be zero. My husband and I stayed at the Wyndham Garden Katy Energy Corridor in Katy, TX for a weekend getaway, and from the beginning the experience was negative. At check-in, we were informed that there would be no housekeeping service during our two-night stay. The lobby and hallways were unbearably hot, and when we entered the room, the air conditioning was not working, with the temperature staying above 78 degrees. My husband called the front desk to report the problem. Instead of sending someone to help, the receptionist gave him instructions on how to try and fix the air conditioner himself. After pressing the buttons several times, the air started to cool slightly. A few minutes later, the call was disconnected, and the employee came up to offer us a different room. We told her that, for the moment, it wasn't necessary, but that we would let them know if the problem persisted. And it did. In the early hours of the morning, the air conditioning failed again, and the room became an oven once more. We decided to wait until morning to report it. When we did, the receptionist questioned my husband, insisting that the air conditioning "was working fine." He explained that the temperature was 76 degrees and still rising. She insisted, arguing that the day before we had said the air conditioning was working. This argument lasted several minutes until she finally said, "I'll check on it." We waited more than 10 minutes without a response. My husband had to call again from his cell phone, as the room phone wasn't working. When he asked what they were going to do, the receptionist argued again and said she would send a technician. A full hour passed, and no one arrived. Tired of waiting and with plans already scheduled, my husband went down to the reception desk. The employee insisted that we wait for the technician, but finally—after several refusals—she agreed to move us to a different room. Upon arriving at the new room, we confirmed the obvious: the air conditioning there was working correctly. Just when we thought the worst was over, the day before our check out we noticed a pending charge of $244.75 on my credit card. At the front desk, they said it included ($50.00 that was refundable) a security deposit and other “state or city” charges, which do not appear on Expedia, a platform that clearly states the total shown at the end of the reservation is the final amount. We tell her that we don`t have problem with the security charge because that is normal in hotels. The day of check out when we asked for the other charges to be removed ( not the security one), the receptionist refused, claiming it was hotel policy and that they were not responsible for what Expedia shows. The issue was not the money, but the lack of transparency and honesty. The staff’s attitude was sarcastic and unprofessional, even encouraging us to “write whatever we wanted in the review.” We made it clear this was about honesty and respect for guests. We have never had an experience like this. I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances and sincerely hope this does not represent the Wyndham brand as a whole. And as a final note: The pool is not working either. note: There were many more details about this situation, but space limitations prevent me from writing more.
