Navasota River

If you want to get away from people and enjoy some of what the grater Houston area has to offer you have to go down to the river. As for anxiety on my part I don't have a problem with a solo stroll in the wild you might need to bring a friend. Or a bat. Or both.😈

Decent fishing and access via canoe/kayak. I do wish there was more enforcement on the dumping of garbage.

Not nearly as big as the Amazon or the Nile, but who cares because more than a mouthful is a waste. Having said that it's listed as impaired for bacteria on the Draft 2018 Texas Integrated Report of Surface Water Quality so don't get any of it in your mouth.

I don’t know why this comes up in my review request all the time; I’m simply driving over the river. It’s a great place because I’m out of Houston and just a short drive from my destination so here your go Google.

I rode past here a lot while i was in town working. Gorgeous view of a beautiful river.
