I love this gym and the people i train with. I’ve been here for a couple months and I have learned so much thanks to Coach Chris Jr and his team. I’ve made friends along the way and they have an amazing set up to train and lift weights. 10/10

I’ve been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Midtown MMA for few years now, and I can’t recommend this gym highly enough! The instructors are top-notch, bringing a high level of technical expertise and passion to every class. They break down complex techniques in a way that’s easy to grasp, while still challenging you to elevate your game. The training environment fosters camaraderie, with everyone pushing each other to improve while maintaining respect and humility. The quality of jiu-jitsu taught here is exceptional, blending traditional fundamentals with cutting-edge techniques. While I have not trained or been to this school I did have the pleasure of meeting the owner at Jujitsu World League in Houston over the weekend. My son competed against two of his students. My son is a talker and I watched as Professor Chris talked with him and engaged him like he was one of his students. Professor even jumped in a coached him in his last NoGi. Afterwards he invited us to visit his school is we were ever back in Houston. I would take my Son here for sure if we were in the area. His skills showed through his students, who both placed along with my Son. But is love for the kids and teaching is what I, as a Dad saw. Thanks again Professor for showing us hospitality.

Great Seminar at Midtown MMA Houston with the legend "XANDE" Alexandre Ribeiro, commonly known as “Xande” Ribeiro is a legendary jiu-jitsu competitor and one of the founding members of the Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu Association. Under the tutelage of some of the world’s top coaches, including Royler Gracie, Vini Aieta and Xande’s own brother Saulo Ribeiro, Alexandre earned numerous grappling titles, including IBJJF and ADCC World Champion, while earning also the #1 rank in BJJ Heroes’ Top BJJ Competitors of All Time list, up until 2020.
