Explore the 22,000 acre Lake Conroe and its 157 miles shoreline! The lake offers fishing, swimming, boating, jet-skiing, and other water sports. You can find variety of boat rental options, lakeside restaurants and beaches. There were 3 most popular beaches, among which Lake Conroe Park has been permanently closed from the beginning of 2024. Other 2 beach areas are: Scott’s Ridge Recreation Area and Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe. There is also a lot of campground around the lake. Please be aware there have been alligators spotted in Lake Conroe. Also, be aware these swim beaches may not be open year round. So call before visiting.
