Houston Golf Academy

We have been thrilled with this program and all of the growth of our son over a year and a half. They really focus on what matters and make it fun while doing so. The Op 36 tournaments are a great way to use the skills learned and create a friendly competition. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking around for golf lessons/program to be a part of.

In conjunction to lessons Cypress Golf Academy has provided a fun and inclusive way for my son to learn golf and build a golf community. Each week he gathers with other kids and develops skills necessary to beat par 36 on 9 holes. If your looking to introduce your child to golf or have an experience golfer looking to meet new friends while continue to grow in their golf game this is the place to be.

My son started the golf course in Jan 2024 and he has been improving a lot on putting, chipping and swing skills. He enjoyed the time in class and coaches have been really responsive and helpful. They have several packages that fit for different levels, I truly recommended the course

My son has been attending classes with Chris and his team for 9months now. My son wasn’t “thrilled” about joining (he’s 15 and is a home body) but with the dedication and time Chris puts into the program, my son’s learned to really enjoy it. He’s asking for private lessons, new equipment, really investing the time to get better. And not to mention, he’s ready before I’m even up in the morning instead of being dragged out of bed. Lol. We are very happy with our sons progress so far! Would highly recommend the program for the enthusiast and even just for fun!

Cypress Golf Academy is the best place to introduce a kid to golf. Our daughter started with Birdie Basics when she was 5 and due to the approach taken by the coaches, she was immediately drawn to golf. The coaches at the academy focus on developing the interest in the game from the beginning. Operation 36 is a great program building competitiveness from the the start (kids start at the 25 yard line and graduate to 50, 100, ...). Coaches Chris and Rachel have great personalities and kids immediately gravitate to them. Coach Chris is also a great golf instructor for both juniors and adults. He has helped me drop my handicap by 6 strokes in about a year. We would recommend Cypress Golf Academy to anyone in the Houston area who is looking to introduce their kids to golf.
