Cypress Trails Ranch

We visited Cypress Trails for my birthday, and it was such a memorable experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite, and they made us feel comfortable right away. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation as suggested and were were told we could walk around and take in the area. The horses were sweet, calm, and well cared for—we even got to pet them before the ride, which was really nice. We did the 1½-hour trail ride, and it was amazing from start to finish. This was our first time riding horses, but the instructors gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions that made everything feel relaxed and safe. The trail itself was beautiful and easygoing, making the whole experience enjoyable and unforgettable. I couldn’t have asked for a better first riding experience or birthday activity! We loved it!

We had an amazing experience at Cypress Trail Ranch for my friend’s birthday! It was our first time horseback riding and everything was super easy from start to finish. Check-in was smooth, the staff made us feel very welcome, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow perfect for beginners. The horses were calm and clearly well taken care of, which made the ride even more enjoyable. The trail ride itself was so much fun and honestly a great vibe for a birthday celebration. Huge shoutout to the wranglers Sasha, Makayla, Brayden, and Alex they were all friendly, patient, and made the experience even better. And the lady at check-in really set the tone; she made us feel right at home and her birthday song was the best Definitely recommend and we will 100% be back! 🐎💛

Just got back from an epic horse trail ride and I'm still grinning! 😊 Our guide Jonathan was top-notch, and Joe the one-eyed horse was the best Super chill, just like the vibes he brought 🐴. I might have to come back just to see him again . Felt the bond we had together. Loved the whole experience, would definitely come back. If you're looking for a laid-back ride with awesome guides, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended. Great adventure and CC gave us space to take up the pace or slow down. It was my son’s first time in a horse. Due to the variation in the terrain I am certain he would be a competent rider within four sessions. Believe me that’s not normal when learning to ride.

We 3 had an amazing horseback riding experience at Cypress Trails Ranch. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable right from the start. The horses (we rode Blue, Airline & Van, such sweethearts!) were well cared for, calm, and perfect for riders of all experience levels. The trail itself was beautiful and peaceful, making it a relaxing escape from the city. Our guide was attentive and patient, which really added to the experience. If you’re looking for a fun, safe, and memorable horseback ride near Houston, I highly recommend Cypress Trails. We will definitely be back!
