My wife and I were looking for a church in the Bay Area of Houston and visited about six or seven before finding OneLife. Some had great worship but an uninspired message. Others had solid teaching but felt spiritually quiet. When we walked into OneLife, we immediately felt something different. The focus was clearly on making much of Jesus, the worship was passionate, and the teaching centered on the living God. After the first service we looked at one another and said, “This might be our place.” One of the things that really stood out to us is the community groups. When you join one, it becomes a small family within the church. People genuinely support one another and walk through life together. Our kids also love it, which says a lot. They really look forward to going every week. One thing I’ll say is that because OneLife continues to grow, which is great, it can sometimes be hard to tell who’s new or just visiting. But once you start getting connected, especially through community groups, you quickly discover this is a church where people genuinely care about each other. If you’re looking for a church where Jesus is truly at the center and where you can be known, loved, and challenged in your faith, OneLife is worth trying.

It was my first time visiting, and unfortunately the reviews were spot on. No one greeted me—not a single hello or good morning. I even stood there by myself for a while, hoping someone would come up to me, but no one ever did. Not even the staff acknowledged me or made me feel welcome. I had been genuinely excited to go, hoping to find a sense of community, but I felt the complete opposite. This actually happened months ago, and I never went back after that. It was definitely my first and last visit. Thankfully, there are many other churches that offer a much more welcoming environment.

We started going to this church almost three years ago. The youth program and the community is what brought us here. We’ve felt like family since day one. I can’t say more about this church other than it’s just been absolutely amazing. I know it will be for you too.

One Life is a great church where people passionately worship Jesus and have a great sense of community! It is one of the very few church that puts an emphasis on the Holy Spirit, while also staying true to God’s word! If you are looking for a new church One Life is an amazing place to go!
