Brazos River Fly Fishing

A fantastic day fly fishing on the Brazos River with Will Stewart from Brazos on the Fly. I caught a very nice sized crappie and a spotted bass. The highlight was watching my husband catch and release 15 fish including several very nice sized small and large mouth bass. What a day! Thank you for a memorable trip!

My son (12) and I had a great fly fishing trip with Will on the Brazos. He was an excellent instructor, very patient, and knowledgeable about the area and fly fishing in general. The boat was the perfect setup for this type of trip. We will definitely go again!

I booked a half day skiff trip with Brazos on the Fly without much experience fly fishing. The guide sent a packing list of all the things we would to be prepared for the day. After getting instruction on how to cast the certain types of flies, we began catching a variety of breeds of fish. We had a great time with the guide as the day went on, and after the trip was over, we decided to book another half day trip for the next morning. Will gave lots of tips to better our casts and was very entertaining throughout the whole trip. I hope to be able to book another trip in the future.

Will Stewart gave my son and I a great experience on the Brazos!!! He is great with proving casting lessons to kids and adults. I highly recommend Brazos on the Fly for a great day fly fishing in North Texas!!! Steven Finley

Spent a full day on the skiff with Will. Will is a true professional and did a great job on communicating with us, instructing, and being a good dude to hang out with. Beautiful scenery, awesome fishing. Will be returning very soon. Thanks Will!
